GBPUAT Pantnagar Placements
The Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar placement and counselling cell is headed by the director, who provides effective day-to-day guidance to the students for purposeful placements. The GBPUAT placements committee prepares students for up-skilling their capabilities and employment opportunities by providing training and coaching classes.
Eligible students are offered job opportunities through the placement cell of GBPUAT, where the students should clear group discussions and interview sessions. According to the NIRF report of 2025 the median salary offered for the UG students is Rs 525000, and for PG-2 year and PG-3 year students is Rs 488000 and Rs 600000. Students are placed in government organisations, academic institutions, industries, banking sectors, and other corporate sectors during the GBPUAT placements. Every year, the GBPUAT Pantnagar placement cell will invite top companies to conduct recruitment drives. Some among them are HCL Foundation, Amul, ICICI Bank, and others.

The placements provided by the college are not so good nd satisfying. Although every year 40-50% students get placed but the salary packages offered are not upto the mark , so there are very few students who actually accept these placements.
