72 MonthsPh.D. program in Civil Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by Gauhati University, Guwahati.
Eligibility Criteria
Master's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% for Engineering or Grade B or 55% of marks in UGC 7 point scale for others.
Or
B. Tech degree in relevant discipline with a minimum CGPA of 8.5/10 or 80% marks in aggregate.
Written Test/Personal Interview will be conducted as per the notification in due time.
Admission Details
The selection process is through a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.
