CIT Kokrajhar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

 At present, there are Central Institute of Technology 12 hostels for boys. With the opening of first-year degree classes and the constraints faced by the students especially the outstation students to find accommodation in the town, the Institute is making arrangements for opening more hostels for boys.

Even though all the hostel buildings on the campus are not ready, the Institute has arranged rented houses and maintained separate hostels for boys and girls in different parts of Kokrajhar town apart from two CIT Kokrajharhostels on the Campus.

The Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar library is the liveliest place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery and scholarship. 

The Central Institute of Technology has two central computer centers with more than two hundred and fifty nodes with the latest Operating Systems and applications software. The computer centres are connected with wired and wireless LAN and have NKN connectivity (1 Gbps) for internet access. 

The CIT Kokrajhar has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. The Institute has two well-equipped seminar halls to organize seminars, workshops, conferences, and interactive programs which have a capacity of 100 audiences each. 

The Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar provides transport facilities for the students and the staff. At present the institute has four buses which fly at regular intervals from 8.30 am in the morning till 6.00 pm in the evening from different parts of Kokrajhar town where our hostels are located to the institute campus.
