The Department of Mechanical Engineering has strategic alliances with companies like NALCO, HAL, Vedanta & Jindal other than CTTC, CIPET, IIW & NSIC to provide superior theoretical and practical training. Besides, the Department has also provided Pro E and Ansys software in its labs. Our aim is to establish ourselves as a centre of excellence in the field of Mechanical Engineering, through innovative teaching-learning methods, intensive CAD/CAM short term programs and Inudstry-Institute partnerships. The department focuses on manufacturing, welding, automotive design and auto service sector skill development. The well-equipped laboratories and dedicated, qualified and committed faculty and supporting staff together form the core of this branch.
