Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace Engineering is four years full-time undergraduate engineering course offered by Chandigarh University, Chandigarh.
One of the most challenging areas of engineering, Aerospace Engineering deals with the development of new technology in the field of aviation, space and defense systems. Aerospace Engineering involves the design and manufacturing of hi-tech systems, hence the engineer require possessing manual, technical and mechanical ability. It is divided into two major and overlapping branches: aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. A background in chemistry, physics, computer science and mathematics is important for students pursuing an aerospace engineering degree.
The candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology with at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate.
