M.Sc Developmental Studies at Christ University Offline Course

Master of Science in Developmental Studies is two years (4 Semester) full-time postgraduate Based Credit Systems program in Arts stream offered by Christ University, Bangalore.

The Master of Science in Developmental Studies seeks to address critical developmental gaps in India and South Asia and create capacity and resources to meet the emerging needs for sustainable development.  Development that is sustainable is of central importance in the agendas of numerous organizations ranging from corporations to NGOs, UN agencies, bi-lateral organizations, political parties, local government and international funding agencies. Students who opt for this programme will gain first-hand knowledge and skills to engage with rising issues such as global warming, limited energy resources, population growth and the rise of newer economies. Students will interact with international experts on themes that are of relevance world over. The programme will employ pedagogies such as problem-based learning, case studies and field visits.
