The University library is spread over four thousand square meters of area. The reading room is located on the ground floor known as Nehru Hall where students can enjoy reading newspapers, magazines, and books. On the first floor, there is a huge reference hall known as Gandhi Hall. DDU Gorakhpur University Gandhi Hall has a collection of reference books like dictionaries, encyclopedias, directories, bibliographies, yearbooks, almanacs, gazetteers, guidebooks, maps, atlases, handbooks, manuals, and statistical sources, etc. Internet-equipped computers are also available for students, teachers, and researchers.

The university has a well-equipped computer center that provides networking to the whole campus. he Computer Teaching and Lab Assistance support of Ph.D. Scholars and Computer typing tests for the Promotion of University Employees and other miscellaneous works are going regularly.

The university has an auditorium inside the Deeksha Bhawan. DDU Gorakhpur University has a large auditorium where seminars, meetings, convocations, annual functions, etc can be organized.

The university has a sports complex for the students so that they can practice various sports such as Judo, Yoga, Taekwondo, and Table Tennis. Students can also participate in sports competitions.

The University guest house has three blocks: The old guest house, Shivam Block, and the academic staff college guest house. Both AC and non-AC rooms are available. The guest house has a well-furnished multipurpose hall, a meeting hall, and a dining hall.

The University has a cafeteria inside the campus that serves healthy and nutritious food to the students, staff, and faculty members at a reasonable price.

The University has 4 boys hostels for the students Sant Kabir Hostel, Gautam Buddha Hostel, Swami Vivekananda Hostel, and Nath Chandrawat Hostel. A canteen and a common hall are also available in the hostel. Wi-Fi facility is also given to all the hostel students.

The University hostels for girls are Maharani Laxmibai Hostel and Alaknanda Hostel. The warden is available to take care of the students. A clean and healthy environment is provided to the students.
