College library is very massive. Many departments have their personal libraries. Botanical garden is very rich and covers larger area. Sone departments need renovation like botany and chemistry department.
Teachers are well qualified and had lots of experience. Teachers only go for theoretical part and not for much practical works, industrial visits, etc. The syllabus follows the Choice Based credit system.
Placement is average in commerce department. Some students get placed in good companies. Highest package offered is 3-5 LPA and lowest 2-2.5 LPA.Placement cell is not much supportive in placement process.
The university is spacious, green, and big, but the facilities are average, especially in the science department. Let’s start with the basics: fans and lighting. Half of the fans are non-functional, never maintained, and left malfunctioning. Except for a few lights, most are non-functional or outdated, with only a bare minimum number of lights working for a functional classroom. Next is the drinking water facility. Most of the water coolers and filters are malfunctioning and poorly maintained, with only a few in working condition. Next are the toilets. Most of them are barely maintained, leaving only a few in somewhat usable condition, that too in different departments. Gardens are never maintained. Labs are okayish. Not state-of-the-art, but good enough to conduct most practicals. The central library is useless. We are not allowed to select books freely, and we must already know the exact book we need, and those books are mostly unavailable. The server for the borrowing system is mostly down. Though every department has its own library, and they are good. The university has free parking, which is good. Exceptional cases are the Maths, Physics, and Botany departments, which are the best maintained. Departments with self-financed courses are also maintained well, for example, agriculture and biotechnology departments. The Arts department is the least maintained. Departments have good Wi-Fi facilities, and most classes have functional smart boards. The university lacks a proper canteen, although it has the infrastructure for one. Sports arenas are good but mostly locked. Hostel facilities for girls are okayish and much better than those for boys. The boys’ hostel is just plain bad!
Academics are decent. Professors are regular and sufficiently knowledgeable about their subjects. However, they fall short in the case of practicals. Average lab facilities add to this, causing students to lack practical knowledge compared to central universities. The university lacks transparency in exam marks. Students are unaware of how they perform in their exams, which makes it difficult for them to analyze and calibrate their performance for the next exam. Students are also unaware of the marks they obtain in internal assessments. Things are taken very casually in the case of bachelor’s courses. However, in master’s courses, professors teach more seriously.
Campus placements are almost non-existent in the university, though the Vice Chancellor is trying to improve the placement scenario. The university offers professional courses such as BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Tech, etc., but I have never heard of any on-campus placements yet. Some placement-related news that one may hear about is usually off-campus, and the university has little to no role in it. Such placements should be credited to professors’ contacts and students’ calibre. Other departments such as Arts, Science, and Commerce have never seen any placements in their history, and things do not seem to be improving anytime soon for these departments. However, things might improve for the professional courses mentioned earlier.
The infrastructure is very bad. It needs renovation. The seats are not in good condition. The classroom is always in dirty condition. Washroom is also not clean , no water is there. Drinking water cooler is also not clean.
The professors are very well educated, talented and intelligent. They are very kind and always support and motivate us for studies .They explain the topics very well. Sometimes they understand the situations of the students for being absent.
They is no placement in the university. Not even 10% students had placed. Students can take admission for degree but don't expect any placement from this university. Placement record of this University is not good at all.
It has a spacious and green campus which gives a peaceful study environment. The classroom are decent and well- ventilated, though some need modernization. The library had a good collection of books and a quiet atmosphere for self study. Laboratories are available for practical work, but upgrading equipment in some departments would make them better. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory.
The academic environment is quite disciplined and focused. Regular classes, internal assessments and exams keep students academically engaged. Teacher's are knowledgeable and supportive, especially in core subjects.
Placement opportunities are limited, especially for general courses. Some professional and self financed courses do get placement support . Overall, placements are average and depend largely on the course and individual effort .
It offers good value for money as the fees are very affordable compared to other universities. Considering the quality of education, campus facilities, and academic exposure, it is a decent choice for students looking for budget friendly higher education.
Campus life is calm and student friendly. The large green campus , cultural programs, seminars, and student activities make college life engaging. It may not be very flashy, but it pffers a balanced and peaceful environment for learning and personal growth .
Good option for students who want quality education at an affordable cost.
College infrastructure is not very much developed, although they are developing and are in progress of better infrastructure. Some of the departments are well maintained like varijye bhawan if commerce.
Teachers are very educated and students can take their knowledge for future studies in research. It's a knowledge hub for students.Teachers are supportive and highly educated for high recognised colleges.
Placement record is very bad of there as it don't provide good placement, only students with purpose to gain knowledge can take admission but in the respective of placement it doesn't hold any good record.
the infrastructure of college is pretty decent as compared to other law colleges of gorakhpur and consist of every impactful facility that is needed to be in a college . The buildings are old but very strong and aesthetic.
the law academic in the law college particularly buddha law college that lies under ddu university is very nice , exams and internal exams are decent not that hard to pass and the faculty are helpful in nature.
Placement as compared to other government colleges are not that good and i will say not that bad too . That totally depends on your dedications towards the studies and the placements are average to be precise.
The crowd , the faculty , the sorrounding of the college makes it valuable and the return of investment is considered to be goo d as it is a government college . The fees is affordable and that is not the problem , daily uses products also availaible for cheap.
The crowd is pretty good , mostly students are from Uttar Pradesh only so for local people it is very easy to survive here with a good atmosphere inside the campus , the campus is clean and beautiful and healthy to live in.
No.
The mess food is decent and hygienic, and there are multiple options available in the canteen. The campus is enjoyable and offers a pretty lively environment for students. Wi-Fi speed is generally good but not stable everywhere.
Teachers are Kind and Supportive. Their teaching methods are simple and effective, making classroom topics easier to understand. The curriculum is relevant to business studies and includes presentations, group activities, and projects.
There are no placements for B.Sc Mathematics students in our college. Companies do not come for core science roles. Most students either prepare for government exams, pursue M.Sc Mathematics, or look for opportunities outside using their own efforts.
The campus is green and peaceful, with many trees. The labs for commerce and computer applications are well-equipped, and each course has its own lab. The university has an auditorium for events and seminars. Boys' and girls' hostels are on separate campuses and have good basic facilities.
Teachers are helpful and well qualified. The teaching quality is above average, and most faculty members have strong subject knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant for commerce students, but it needs some updates, especially the addition of practical modules and digital accounting tools to meet industry standards.
The highest salary package is usually between ₹3 and ₹3.5 LPA, while the lowest is around ₹1.8 to ₹2 LPA. Companies that visit include regional firms and mid-level organizations like Gorakhpur Finance Corp, MetroBooks Accounting Services, NorthEastern Retail Hub, and CityLine Business Solutions.
The university's infrastructure is quite good, with most essential facilities available. There is a gym, activity rooms, reading areas, and several blocks for different academic departments. The labs for BBA, such as computer labs and analytics labs, are decent and equipped with the necessary tools. Classrooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
The curriculum is regularly updated to meet industry needs and includes relevant subjects for management careers. Teachers are friendly and approachable, and overall academic support is solid for students who keep up with their studies.
For BBA students at Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, placements are average. About 50 to 60% of students find jobs through campus opportunities. The highest package offered in our course ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month. The average package is typically around ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month.
Wi-Fi is available in some areas of the campus and works well when accessible. The overall infrastructure is decent for a government university. Classrooms are clean and have proper seating. The labs and resources in the commerce department are basic but functional. The hostel buildings are in good shape, but the
Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. Most teachers have good experience and interact politely, which helps students grasp commerce subjects well.
Placements for B.Com students at DDU Gorakhpur University are below average. Only about 20 to 30% of students get placed, and most of them find jobs through off-campus efforts. The highest package some students managed through personal applications was around ₹4 to 5 LPA, while the lowest was about ₹1.5 LPA.
