Davv or devi ahilya vishwavidyalaya is one of the most reputated and well established university in madhya pradesh.I have completed my b.com or bachelor's of commerce from this university. Their education quality is very good
The college facilities were really good. The teachers are well educated. The faculty members are supportive, experienced and trained with modern teaching methods. I made a lot of good memories there and learned so much from them.
Placement options is also available Average salaries usually fall in the moderate range but the average package offered was not that much good but yes they offer the placement opportunity which is the main point.
Yes it was value for money and and their course prices are also very affordable
The campus was really very beautiful and I think it is much improved because I have completed my my b.com in 2020 and i think in 5 years it was changed alot.
My college has a decent infrastructure and is also developing day by day, classrooms are maintained properly and library is also kind of decent, we aare able to.find some books but sometimes we are not able to get the books which we want...at the end college is decent and good.
I am currently pursuing BBA+MBA integrated from devi ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and i am pursuing this because i have sort of intrest in business and also i wanted a government college from so long so i am here pursuing my degree
Placements are not really good but can find one decent place after the completion of degree. Around 50% of the students are placed and average salary of them is 2 - 5 lakh per annum. Yes the college is supported
My college fee cost me around 50k for a year this is the only the fee and beside this there are other expenses as well has to be paid like the hostel charges and other expenses. Yes as compared to other private colleges my investment in college is worth the money
University campus is very well maintained with greenery all around...i personally had a very good experience in the college campus...
Overall the university is very decent and the college of the university is also good one can easily get into it and can find their college life intresting here....... Davv is a state government university so the fee is also very low as compared to the private university which costs around 3,4 lakhs a year here the fee is only around maximum 1lakh a year for some courses so i will suggest if anyone want a good college so can definitely consider devi ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in their list
School of economics have basic infrastructure not so good or bad it hae smart class ond auditorium have separate washroom for girls and boys no computer lab available at current moment it's in progress
The School of Economics, DAVV (Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore) is a UGC-SAP & NAAC-‘A’ rated dept. (est. 1976) offering BA (Hons), MA, MPhil, PhD, and MBAs in Business Economics, International Business & Financial Services.
Placements at SOE DAVV are decent with average packages around ₹4–5 LPA; top performers get higher offers. Opportunities exist but vary by year, so strong academics and skills improve outcomes. Basically decent
It's have good value
Lots of events
Good experience
College infrastructure is very good with a big campus including all types of courses Library garden sports all the faculties are highly qualified with phd degrees , have very good knowledge in their field teaching process is also very good
We have very good results in our end sem and with good cgpa all the students are very intelligent in their own fields , internal exams are also taken timely and all the marks are shown to students so that they could understand their mistakes
Placement criteria is very good this college provide upto 70 to 80 percent placement in all the fields , many companies come across the country takes interview and students got placed as per their remarks
A value-for-money college offers quality education, good facilities, helpful faculty, and strong placements at an affordable cost, ensuring students get solid returns on their investment this is really good college
Campus life is vibrant and welcoming, with active clubs, engaging events, supportive faculty, and well-maintained facilities. Students enjoy a balanced mix of academics, recreation, and community, creating a positive overall experience.
Decent area coverage and bad classroom infrastructure. They have decent area occupied and they have decent looking college and departments and they are like what it is. Classroom are not on that good side
They have pretty not so good facilities and also average staff for teaching purpose not have any CCTV in classroom and some faculty are good some are average . II don't know what to say just keep my ratings confidential.
I don't know about placements that much but I don't know what it really is and how much of them getting placements and all so I can't say much about the confidential part but let's see what it is and how it leads
My faculty is School of economics and It's little old but have good classrooms in it and has an auditorium also with specific rooms for meeting and cabins and has 1 floor. Classrooms have projectors in it and is working also have a private library. Overall the infrastructure is descent, not very bad. University have basketball court volleyball group and football ground and athletic ground too and has one central library. It's maintained. Has one descent canteen.
My college academics are rigorous and fast-paced, leaving limited time for preparation and understanding. The semester moves quickly, with a strong emphasis on academic performance. This demanding environment requires effective time management and focus to keep up with the curriculum.
Our college has a decent placement record, with a dedicated placement cell that focuses on enhancing students' skills and employability. The cell works closely with top companies to facilitate campus recruitment and provide students with opportunities to secure desirable jobs.
I'm disappointed with the value for money in my government college course. Despite being a government institution, the fees are steep, similar to private colleges. The academics and placements are average, making it hard to justify the high cost. Feeling underwhelmed and overcharged. I get charged more than 1 lakh per year
Campus life is fantastic! Our college has a beautiful campus with a spacious auditorium where various events are frequently organized. These events provide ample opportunities for students to showcase their talents, network, and have a great time. It's a lively and engaging environment!
Government college type infrastructure, not so good, but smart classes, library is well maintained, digital resources, need better things, hostel facilities, older building, good choice for affordable
Good academics ,peer learning environment, highly effective, developes student overall personality, emphasis on practical application alongside significant strength, ensuring graduates job ready skills
The placement opportunities provided through this college were extremely disappointing despite the promise of connecting students with the top companies, the reality was very low placement rate for my specific course
Its add value to money
Lots of events has been conduct
Overall decent experience
The college building is not too big but okay. Classrooms are fine, fans and lights work mostly. Library is small but has useful books. Campus is clean but not much hangout spots. Wi-Fi works sometimes.
Some teachers are really good and helpful, while others just finish syllabus. Classes can get boring at times. Syllabus is fine but not very practical. We do get presentations and assignments regularly.
Placement is not that great. Few companies visit and most roles are in sales or fieldwork. You have to put your own efforts to get a job. College gives some support but not much follow-up after that. Decent placement
The college offers a clean and spacious campus with modern classrooms, air-conditioned labs, and a decent library. Hostel facilities are good, and there’s enough space for cultural and sports events too.
The teaching staff is well-qualified and helpful. Classes involve presentations, group projects, and real-life business discussions. The curriculum is regularly updated to stay aligned with industry trends.
Placement drives attract well-known companies. Many students secure good roles in marketing, finance, and HR. The placement cell supports with mock interviews, training sessions, and job search guidance.
The campus is not so modern and spacious but there are some advanced classrooms, technology enabled labs, and a peaceful library. Sports and recreational areas add to the overall student experience. My experience here is good.
The teaching approach is interactive, with experienced professors and updated syllabus. Focus on case studies, presentations, and projects helps in practical understanding. I am persuing MBA form here and all faculty are good.
Top recruiters visit regularly, offering decent packages. The placement cell is active and supportive, with mock interviews and soft skills training to boost student confidence. Good campus placement with good package.
Hii,
You must take the CUET UG exam in order to be admitted to DAVV Indore for B.Com (Hons) or BBA. Aim for a score in the range of 310 to 390 for the B.Com (Hons). Aim for 330–410 on the BBA exam. Actual cutoffs may differ from these broad category estimates. Additionally, make sure your exam scores for the 12th grade are at least 60%.
Although admissions are now open, some students are having trouble using the new online platform. On May 30, the first registration period closes, and on June 7, the second one begins.
Hi dear candidate,
At the DAVV Indore, the primary criteria for admission in either BBA or BCom is based on CUET UG marks and they do not release the cut off list from their side.
You would need marks around 350 collectively in all required subjects like Accounts, Business Studies, Economics and English in CUET.
DAVV also provides admission based on 12th class marks (50% minimum) and some cases if two candidates have same CUET marks then their 12th class marks are considered as tie breaker.

Hello
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) usually does not admit students to Class 12 based on merit since Class 12 is typically completed at schools, not universities. DAVV primarily offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses where admission is often based on Class 12 marks or entrance exams, depending on the program. So, for Class 12 itself, admission is generally handled by schools following their own criteria, not DAVV. If you’re asking about admission into DAVV courses after Class 12, then yes, merit based on Class 12 results can play a role
