Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Horticulture (Hons.) is a four-year (8-Semester) full-time undergraduate course and it is offered by College of Horticulture, Solan (Nauni) at Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni and course is approved by ICAR.

15% of the total 50 HP Quota seats (Normal) shall be filled up by the ICAR through an All India Entrance Examination conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

The remaining 85% seats shall be reserved for Bonafide Himachali candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of SC/ ST/ PH category candidates/ in-service nominees of Himachal Pradesh) in the above subjects.

Candidate should have passed Examination of a University/ Board/ College/ School in a foreign country recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to 10+2 with science subjects provided the candidate has obtained at least 60% aggregate marks or ‘B’ grade/equivalent.

Admission Details

Admission shall be done through an objective type entrance test (UGET). Details of the same are given in Chapter-III. However, the candidates applying for admission against self-financing seats are exempted from entrance test.

College Infrastructure

My university is one of the renowned university in nauni it provides many courses our university has a big 2 story library our university also provide a hostel facility for the students parents and guardians university also provide us sports facilities in which our university organise sports events every year and in last I say it is a great university

This university provides with great exposure.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of YSP University is great. This university is one of the top government universities for horticulture and forestry. The University has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities like labs, libraries etc.

Very beautiful and safe place for study.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is very good. Every kind of technology is available. Library which we can also access digitally, gymnasium for indoor sports, laboratories, smart classrooms and hostels are available here.
