My decision to pursue Wood Science and technology was driven by a deep interest in sustainable materials and their applications in modern industries. Also, coming from a forestry background, persuing a master's degree in Wood Science and Technology subject felt like a natural step. It deepened my practical understanding and aligned perfectly with my interests
College Infra
The Classrooms were actually well-designed and modern. It was impressive how such advanced infrastructure was maintained in a remote mountain location. Also, there were various recreational facilities, including sports ground and activity centre, encouraging students to engage in various activities and maintain a balanced life Hostel accomodations were also comfortable and well maintained.
Campus Life
Living in the college hostel was a good experience it actually fostered my personal growth and independence. While the absence of campus placement opportunities was a drawback.
Placements
Unfortunately, my university did not offer campus placement opportunities. This limitation posed challanges for students seeking direct entry into workforce post graduation, as there was no structured support for job placement. While the institution offered quality education and skill development. implementing a placement cell could have bridged this gap, providing students with valuable resources, industry connection and guidance to secure employment opportunities.
Value For Money
Well, the curriculum was balanced blend of practical skills and theoretical knowledge, which significantly contributed to my personal growth.

Our University has Ac classroom and our university has Digital board which i think is good as per the modern world, the teaching faculty are great I had done PhD Plant Pathology from here and I can say that the teachers done field practical or farm practical everyday for a clear understanding of the subject which i think is good
College Infra
The Ys Parmar university in Nauni Himachal Pradesh is a great university for doing Phd degree because this university has a well equipped Laboratories in which all the latest instruments are installed, the university has hostels in which there is a seperate reading room tv room and a sports room, the central library is very big and it is a comfortable place for the students to sit and study
Placements
After doing a PhD degree in plant pathology the package you can get varies upto 8 lakhs per annum which I think is okay many students takes part in placements but most of the students they start their preparation for UGC NET to become a assistant professor and some students they start their teaching carrier in a private college and university
Value For Money
Doing a PhD degree from YS Parmar university is good and the fees structure is very low and the great things is that you get many many scholarship opportunities in this university

I have studied MSc Plant Pathology in this university and teachers are good and helpful and all the teachers are Phd qualified there are senior professors, assistant professor, and guest faculty members for both theoretical and practical knowledge teachers on a daily basis visits field for a proper demonstration of knowledge
College Infra
My college is still developing in many things and our classroom are air conditioned in our class smart boards are also available laboratories are very good only private hostel are available for boys and government hostel are available for men our hostel is also very goods at sports playground is there for students
Placements
Placement in our university for MSc Plant pathology is not very great as some private company do comes in our university but they offers a low salary package of upto 4 to 5 lakhs per annum package to the students which I think is a low package so many students after doing their master they start for IBPS AFO exam preparation
Value For Money
For Post Graduation course fees are quite low in this university so don't worry regarding the fees, fees is not very high
