24 MonthsMaster of Science (M.Sc) in Environmental Science is a full-time two-year postgraduate course offered by the College of Forestry, Solan (Nauni) at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduates with an OGPA of 6.00/10.00 under course credit system or with a minimum of 60% marks in the respective degree from a recognized University or degree from a foreign University with at least ‘B’ grade or its equivalent recognized by the University.
BSc (Hons) Forestry/BSc Forestry/ BSc (Hons) Horticulture/BSc Horticulture 4 years programme under ICAR-AU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty). If some seats remain vacant, the candidates with BSc (Hons) Biotechnology/B Tech Biotechnology, BSc (Hons) Agriculture/BSc Agriculture 4 years programme under ICAR-AU system (SAUs/ CAUs/CU’s with Agriculture faculty) shall be considered on merit basis in the order of preference. However, if seats still remain vacant the candidates with BSc Environmental Science, Medical, Non-medical under ICAR-AU system or UGC recognized Universities will be considered on merit basis in order of preference.
Admission Details
The basis of admission shall be merit as determined on the basis of marks secured in the Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by this University.
