48 MonthsThis is a four-year bachelor's program that integrates the principles of electrical engineering and computer science. This interdisciplinary field focuses on the design, development, implementation of electrical and computer systems, and preparation of students from a variety of careers in industries such as electrical systems, communications, automation, and embedded systems. The program gives students a strong basis for both hardware and software, allowing them to efficiently solve real engineering problems. This includes core objects such as circuit theory, digital electronics, power systems, embedded systems, microprocessors, and control systems. Additionally, it covers topics related to computer science, such as programming, data structures, computer architecture, networking, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. The program also highlights new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), machine learning and renewable energy systems.
Students gain practical experience through laboratory experiments, industry projects, internships and research activities. These practical components help apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and prepare students for industry challenges. The program promotes innovation and research by encouraging students to tackle advanced projects in areas such as robotics, automation, and intelligent systems. They also acquire specialized skills such as teamwork, leadership and ethical decision-making. The program ensures that students are industry ready by exposure to the latest engineering tools, software and technology used in a variety of fields. Work in the electronics and semiconductor industries and contribute to chip design and embedded systems. Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Electronics/Engineering Graphics/Technical Vocational Subjects in Class XIIth.
