It is the branch of biology that focuses on the consolidated understanding of the structure, physiology, biodiversity, evolution, anatomy, behaviour, genetics, development and environmental significance of animal world from outside as well as at the molecular level. Major subjects include Animal Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Genetics, Evolution, Ecology, and Conservation. Key subjects are integrated with practice sessions so as to provide an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on training experience.
