Bachelor of Science in Food Technology or B.Sc.(Hons)Food Technology is an advanced study of the techniques and activities involved in preserving, processing, and manufacturing of food. It helps students in understanding concepts such as the composition of food, develop in candidates an understanding of food’s nutritional, physicochemical and microbiological properties, provide students an advanced insight to the different techniques related to food preservation and also teach students concepts such as the importance of food quality, plant sanitation, food laws and regulations, and packaging in food industry.
The duration of the course three years and it opens many job prospects for the applicants.
