Himachal Pradesh University, also known as (HPU) Shimla, is a public state university established in 1970 by an Act of the Himachal Pradesh State Assembly. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the university. NAAC has accredited HPU Shimla with an ‘A’ grade. Aspirants can enrol in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses.
HPU Shimla offers courses in various streams, such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, Law, Media, Mass Communication and Journalism. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of HPU Shimla before applying to the full-time programmes offered by the university.

HPU Shimla Scholarship
The varsity encourages its students to perform well in academics and sports by offering them scholarships and financial aid. Himachal Pradesh University scholarships are - Cultural Activities Scholarship, Sports Scholarship and HP Government Poverty cum Brilliance Scholarship. The university is registered at the National Scholarship Portal. Students belonging to weaker sections of the society can visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal to avail state and national level scholarships. Students can apply for state and national scholarships immediately after securing admission in the university. Himachal Pradesh University in Shimla has a pretty campus surrounded by hills. The buildings are modern and fit nicely with the natural beauty. Classrooms are big and well-equipped, and the library has lots of books and online stuff. The campus is calm with gardens and places to relax.

Our department has a mini-auditorium, GD room, conference hall, computer lab, photostat room, and Wi-Fi access. In my university, all kinds of facilities are provided, such as wi-fi, lab, classroom, library, medical, sports and games, etc.

our college boasts good infrastructure. classrooms have Wi Fi services. labs have all the equipments required for use. we have one huge library with well organized books. hostels are cleaned and well maintained but food is not good.

It is very unfortunate to hear that both of your exams are clashing on the same day, I wish that the timings are different such as one exam is in the first half and the other exam is in the second half, but if the two exam timings are also colliding then what you need to do is to prioritize the one you need the most, I think it would be relevant to appear in the graduation paper since there are several other entrance exams for M.sc zoology other than this
