Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Computer Science Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course and it is offered by the IEC University, Baddi.

The Department offers B.Tech. Degrees. The Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is up-to-date and includes courses on nascent topics to equip our students with the latest developments in Computer Science and Engineering.

The departmental research is focused in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Parallel Processing, Software Engineering, Image Processing, and Computer Vision, Medical Image Processing, Pattern Recognition, Data mining, and Web mining. The Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high-speed Ethernet and wireless networks. Various student organizations like IEC Journals are active throughout the year.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate must have Rank Holders in JEE Main/HPCET and aggregate minimum 45% or equivalent in 10+2 in following subjects. Compulsory subjects:-Maths & Physics. Any of these:- Chemistry & Computer Science/Biochemistry/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects. (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together).

Admission Details

Admissions are done on the basis of merit list prepared after considering the result of the rank of JEE Main/HPCET and marks obtained in last qualifying examination.
