The University has the pleasure of hosting several sports events like Cricket, Chess, Archery, Swimming, Tennis, Taekwondo, Football, Kabaddi etc. The large sports complex on campus has dedicated courts for variegated sports events. These events witness the participation of students from various universities and institutes across the country. IES students also enthusiastically participate in the nodal, state-level, zonal, and national-level sports events. Their training at this facility grooms them to win and bring accolades to their Alma Mater.

The Training and Placement Cell of the group is very scrupulous in terms of connectivity with Companies worldwide and works assiduously for the training and placement of the students. The best part of the placements at the group is that every student is encouraged to appear in as many interviews as they wish unless they succeed.

The goals of the Dynamic Drillers Students Club are to serve the interests and needs of students while also improving their balance inner stability, intellectual acuity, and healthiness. After their educational time, DDSC is in charge of ensuring that students are active in other activities. These clubs are run by students with skill experts' support. The Department of Computer Science Team at IES is in charge of running DDSC.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
