The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and internet facility is provided in the classrooms, hostels, and laboratories. Central library includes management books, journals. The classrooms are well lit, air conditioned, and projectors are equipped within them.
The teachers are experienced and qualified, most of the professors being degree holders from reputed institutes with corporate exposure in the respective fields. While some teachers focus on case studies, others opt for whiteboard teaching and PPTs for easy understanding of concepts. MBA syllabus is revised from time to time according to the industry needs.
The top offered package for the 2024 batch was ₹18 LPA from Deloitte and the second highest was ₹15 LPA from KPMG. The lowest was of the order of ₹3.5 LPA, which were primarily from mass recruiters. The average was of the order of ₹6.8 LPA. Its best recruiters were Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, ICICI Prudential, EY, Tech Mahindra, and a few mid-sized consulting and marketing companies.
The classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and smart-boards, and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is stocked with enough books. Labs and seminar halls are provided and in a suitable condition. The hostel is average with good internet speed, although non-academic websites cannot be opened.
Tecahers are mostly friendly and cooperative, particularly in project assignments and case studies. The course material for an MBA is practical and industry-focused with frequent updates. Passing marks are 33% in finals, so balance is a must.
The maximum offer made was about ₹18 LPA, and the minimum package offered was about ₹6–7 LPA, based on the stream. The minimum packages offered were between ₹3–4 LPA. The recruiters included names like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Tech Mahindra, and Zomato.
IILM Gurugram facilities are good. Hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished, and the campus looks modern and professional. Library is operational till late nights (9 PM), which is a big advantage during examination times.
Masters optimize learning by using a mix of case studies, group work, and interactive lectures. The course content is highly challenging, however, and cracking exams is no easy task.the management also organise the industrial visits for the real exposure to students.
The average offer is around ₹10–12 LPA, with some of the students having received offers of ₹28 LPA in strategy and consulting fields. The overall campus placement percentage in our specialization is about 85–90%. Bain Capability Network, Axis Bank, Gartner, and ZS Associates have been placed through campus.
The campus is well-preserved and appears good. The canteen is excellent while mess food is ordinary. The learning resource center (library), classrooms, and computer centers are suitably equipped with facilities that are modernized.
IILM teachers are hardworking and dedicated. They give extra classes occasionally and complete the syllabus in depth. There are frequent exams with internal tests, presentations, case studies. The university follows a relative grading system.
As part of the first year of my MBA at IILM University, I was provided the chance to be a placement coordinator in the university itself, thereby having a first-hand experience with the placement process. The maximum package offered to the graduating batch for this year is approximately ₹45 LPA, reportedly from Deloitte Middle East. The mean package is around ₹10–11 LPA, based on specialization and profile. Deloitte, EY, KPMG, HDFC Bank, and Gartner are some of the major recruiters to campus.
The campus infrastructure is reasonable. The classrooms are well-provided, spacious and air-conditioned, which is useful during summers. The library is well-equipped with reasonable sitting space and computer labs. The mess provides reasonable food with a wide variety every day.
Professors here are extremely co-operative and highly qualified, and most of the professors are from famous institutes. The teaching quality is good overall, and they help students to get prepared for placements.
Placements are decent but depend a lot on your own effort and skills. Around 85-90% of students get placed, mostly in roles like business analyst, marketing executive, and operations manager. Companies like Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Tata Consultancy Services visit the campus regularly. Packages differ a great deal, but the highest packages go up to 8 LPA+ for top performers.
The campus is neat and new, and classrooms are large, well lit, and ventilated with full air conditioning. Hostel facilities are average totally not worth the price of fee paid. Wi-Fi is poor in the hostel, poorer at night. The library and the labs are excellent.
Exams are taken nearly every month, and the syllabus burden is really too heavy, and therefore it is difficult to continue. Fifty percent of students cannot keep pace and even fail half a semester courses.
I got the opportunity to join Reliance Retail as a Management Trainee, and currently, I’m working as an Assistant Manager here. When it comes to placements, IILM University Gurugram is actually decent, depending on your individual skill set. In my batch, around 80% of students got placed.
Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus, which facilitates presentations and group projects. There is a well-supplied library with online facility, a mini gym and boys' and girls' hostel facilities. The mess and canteen provide good food some of the food is really good, some just average, but not too bad.
Some teachers are really supportive and invested in student growth, Subject syllabus is covered well, The curriculum adds industry related value. Exams are of medium standard. Some students do have problems with CGPA if they're not regular in studies.
Nearly 80–85% students got placed, but relatively fewer top-level positions. The highest package was like ₹10–12 LPA, but it was for an extremely specialized profile. Average package is roughly ₹4–5.5 LPA. The rest of the students either pursue startups, pursue higher studies, or choose off-campus placements.
The infrastructure of the university is modern and advanced, with well-furnished lecture halls and a well-equipped library. The student crowd is good and balanced, and the overall atmosphere is healthy and interactive.
The students are satisfied with the teaching faculty, who are polite, educated, and accessible. They do not just help students with academics but also with hackathons, competitions, and project work. Guest lectures from industry professionals, startup founders, and entrepreneurs are a part of learning.
IILM placements are good, particularly for those students who become engaged with placement training and networking. The median package is between 6 LPA and 7 LPA, and the majority of students get placed during campus hiring.
The library is spacious and is packed with recent books and online resources. Classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smart boards, giving a comfortable and engaging learning space. Sports areas include basketball court and indoor games room.
Most of the faculty members possess professional experience, which enhances learning during case studies and project work. Although the learning is mostly participative, there is a lot of self-learning and presentation work. The curriculum is current, with industry-relevant subjects and electives.
The maximum package provided in the previous year was around 10 LPA, average was approximately 4.5 LPA, and minimum was as low as 2.5 LPA. It is advised that students also undertake internships and projects on their own.
The college offers all the amenities free of cost. Students' industry visits are organized free of cost, and lunch during the industry visit is also offered free of cost. Free Wi-Fi service is also available on campus, and there are also medical facilities for students as well as teachers.
The instructors are extremely supportive, nice, and well-qualified. The instructors provide clear explanations of concepts and tend to use real-life examples, and the classes become interactive in nature. Professors are nice and receptive to doubt both inside and outside of class.
The maximum package that was given was 18 LPA, and the minimum that was given was around 3 LPA, and the average was approximately 5 LPA. All the students received internships, and almost all of them were paid. I got placed in Keyence corporation as HR executive.
At IILM Gurugram, industry exposure is ensured as it essential for career success. The University has collaborations with leading media houses, PR agencies, and corporate communication firms.
