Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata offers admissions into various specialisations at the postgraduate level. IACS Kolkata admission into the MSc PhD programme is given based on the merit of the last qualification and JAM Session. The final IACS Kolkata admission selection is done based on the interview process and JAM session.

IACS Kolkata admission committee decision is final in this regard. Reservation of IACS Kolkata admission seats will be as per MHRD norms. For candidates with letter grades/CGPA, the candidate should secure at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Conversion of CGPA into marks will not be accepted at IACS Kolkata if the degree awarded is based on CGPA.

Students with at least 55% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC/ST and PwD category candidates in the qualifying degree are considered for IACS Kolkata admission.

• Online applications are accepted from the students who meet the  IACS Kolkata admission requirements. 

• Aspirants are advised to acquire merit in the last qualifying examination.

• Students are shortlisted on merit students based on their performance in the qualifying examination and JAM session (BT). 

• Applicants are shortlisted on a merit basis.

• Merit students are advised to appear for the  IACS Kolkata interview process followed by a JAM session (CY).

• Based on the evaluation, students are allotted seats.

•  The IACS Kolkata course fee should be paid by the students to get the  IACS Kolkata seats reserved.
