Representative Areas- Marketing/Services Management, Finance/Economics/ Accounting, Human Resource Management/Development, Operations and Optimization, Strategic Management/General Management. (students may be allowed to do research in other areas of information technology provided a faculty from the department / institute is willing to supervise the student in the specific area.

Research Scholars to take up the additional assignment of ‘Tutor-cum-Research Assistant’ Positions at IIIT Allahabad, will be compensated additionally with an additional fellowship upto Rs.10, 000/- per month over and above their scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

(i) A master's degree in Management / Commerce / Science / Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPI (55% marks/6.0 CGPI for SC/ST). (ii) The candidate must have qualified one of following appropriate national tests: GATE / CAT / GMAT / CSIR-NET / UGC-NET OR A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% marks/ 8.0 CGPI (70% marks/7.5 CGPI for SC/ST) • MHRD fellowship ( GO F .No. 17-2/2014-TS.I.) will only be provided to the scholars on basis of GATE scores above the prescribed cut-off level. • The Fellowship will also be provided to the scholars on the basis of their CAT Scores above the prescribed cut off level. This fellowship will be at par with MHRD fellowship.
