48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli.
Computer Science and Engineering focus on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. Students will gain knowledge of design, implementation and management of information system of both hardware and software. It deals primarily with the theory of computation and design of computational systems.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

Admission to Undergraduate Programs for the candidates from India at IIIT Trichy is based on the ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). Admission to IIIT Trichy for JEE Main qualified candidates is made through a single platform through online by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

We are currently using Nit Trichy as our host college, For hostel one needs to commute from another college hostel which is 25 km away or have your own rental room nearby. One can still use other facilities by Nit except hostel.
