Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Tiruchirappalli.

Electronics & Communication Engineering deals with electronic devices, circuits, communication equipment like transmitter, receiver, integrated circuits (IC). It also deals with basic electronics, analog and digital transmission & reception of data, voice and video (Example AM, FM, DTH), microprocessors, satellite communication, microwave engineering, antennae and wave progression. It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operation, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination.

College Infrastructure

College has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students according to requirements. Classrooms has smart boards ,projector facilities, laboratories are well - maintained ,wifi facility is available is college ,mess area , hostel also. Cleanliness is also maintained in hostel , mess etc. Food is highly hygienic.
