The Executive Doctoral Programme in Management (hereafter, Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) is a non-residential fellow programme in management. Executive Fellow Programme in Management is specially designed for working professional working with industry, government and social sector and interested in pursuing research in the field of Management. With the rapid expansion of management education in India, it has become inevitable that business school caters to the demand of faculty by producing excellent researchers and academicians who have a strong practical experience of the corporate world. Management education will only be powerful and effective if the people with their real-life experiences are brought to the academic forefront. EFPM at IIM Rohtak is an attempt in this direction to draw the best talent from industry to academia.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

Essential requirement (any one of the following)

Post-Graduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA; (OR)
Qualifications of CA, ICWA or CS with at least 50% marks with an appropriate preceding degree; (OR)
4-year/ 8 Semesters Bachelor’s degree, with at least 65% marks or equivalent CGPA;

Admission Details

The admission to EFPM of IIM Rohtak is open to all Indian citizens, non-resident Indians, persons of Indian origin living abroad and other foreign citizens. Admission is based on academic qualifications, performance in the qualifying examination/tests, personal interviews, and the work experience.

A candidate applying for EFPM of IIM Rohtak should have a valid test score not older than five years from the closing date of application in any of the following tests.

CAT conducted by IIMs
GMAT
GRE
GATE (only for operations & IT Area)
PGDM of IIMs (CGPA 6 & Above)
UPSC (Group A officers)

>In lieu of the above qualifying test score, the participant may appear for the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by IIM Rohtak.

Research Aptitude Test (RAT):

RAT will be an objective type test and comprises of quantitative ability, reading comprehension and verbal ability, data interpretation and logical reasoning. A candidate will have to score at least 40% marks in this test in order to be eligible for the further selection process. However, the score obtained in RAT will not be considered for the final merit.The candidates who have valid scores above prescribed cut-off decided for this purpose by the Institute in a standard test like CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/UGC-JRF are exempted from RAT.

Candidates qualifying RAT (or exempted from RAT) will also appear in an interview.
