The university provides admission to B.Tech programmes based on JEE Advanced scores of candidates. IIT Jammu cutoff is the closing ranks of JEE Advanced. It must be noted that candidates must meet Indian Institute of Technology Jammu cut off requirements to enroll in Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses. The cutoff varies from each programme. Excellent infrastructure is available at IIT JAMMU. We have constant Wi-Fi access, and there is also a library. The in the mess and canteen is of good quality. Medical facilities are also available. There are places to play football, tennis, badminton, volleyball, and other sports. There well equipped Gym.

It mostly depends on which branch you are getting in both the colleges. If you are getting computer science in igdtuw, then you should go for it anyday. Its in delhi, so the tech placements are pretty nice as it is in delhi and then location factors comes into the picture. But if you want a tag of an iitian and you think you can do well and will do hardwork even being in a lower branch in iit jammu then you can go for it. However do the location of iit jammu, most students dont prefer to go there. Dont think much, wherever you will go, you will do great!!

choosing a college is a quite difficult decision ,It solely depends upon you both are great colleges you will get great opportunities IN ANY COURSE WHICH U PICK iits to have their alumni all over the world coming together talking about placements since we are talking about iits so you will get an almost similar opportunity
it all comes down to your passion and the amount of hard work where you are going to put your next 4 years into
IIT won't be a cakewalk but it will help you to grow in all walks of life which automatically will give a head start to your career.
