IIT Jammu Placements
Every year IIT Jammu students are offered with an ample number of placement and internship opportunities. It must be noted that internships are not compulsory for students. The university has a Career Development Centre that invites companies to Indian Institute of Technology Jammu placements. It acts as a bridge between students and companies. The students are trained and prepared for the IIT Jammu placement drive. The Career Development Centre helps students in improving their employability skills. Every year companies such as OYO, Amazon, Toppr, Arista Networks etc. participate in the IIT Jammu placement drive and provide jobs to students.
As per the IIT Jammu placement report 2019-20, around 30 companies participated in the placement drive. The average salary offered to students in the year 2019-20 was Rs. 12,20,000 per annum and 70 job offers were provided to students. Companies such as Amazon, Eagle View, RAAM Group participated in the placement drive and hired students.

Hello candidate,
It mostly depends on which branch you are getting in both the colleges. If you are getting computer science in igdtuw, then you should go for it anyday. Its in delhi, so the tech placements are pretty nice as it is in delhi and then location factors comes into the picture. But if you want a tag of an iitian and you think you can do well and will do hardwork even being in a lower branch in iit jammu then you can go for it. However do the location of iit jammu, most students dont prefer to go there. Dont think much, wherever you will go, you will do great!!

choosing a college is a quite difficult decision ,It solely depends upon you both are great colleges you will get great opportunities IN ANY COURSE WHICH U PICK iits to have their alumni all over the world coming together talking about placements since we are talking about iits so you will get an almost similar opportunity
it all comes down to your passion and the amount of hard work where you are going to put your next 4 years into
IIT won't be a cakewalk but it will help you to grow in all walks of life which automatically will give a head start to your career.
