 IIT Jammu admissions are offered to B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D programmes. IIT Jammu B.Tech admission is done through Joint Entrance Examination - Advanced (JEE-Advanced) rank which is conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) and administered by Joint Admission Board (JAB) through a centralised counselling conducted by JoSSA at all-India level.

IIT Jammu accepts JEE Advanced scores of candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programmes. IIT Jammu admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech.) courses is done based on marks obtained by candidates in GATE. As per the IIT Jammu admission process, the final selection of candidates in the M.Tech courses is done after a written test and personal interview conducted by the IITJ. IIT Jammu admission process includes a written test and personal interview for admission to Ph.D courses. It must be noted that only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for IIT Jammu admission.

• After that, they are required to register on the institute website with their valid email ID.

IIT Jammu seat intake is based on the number of students clearing the cutoff criteria of GATE examination and passing the JoSAA counselling.

The counselling for Ph.D programmes is conducted after completion of the entrance examination.

IIT Jammu JEE Advanced Result 2024

IIT Advanced 2024 examination was held on May 26, 2024 and the JEE Advanced result 2024 have been released by the IIT Madras on June 9, 2024. To check the JEE Advanced result 2024, candidates must visit the jeeadv.ac.in and fill in the required details. After qualifying the JEE Advanced examination candidates must appear for the JoSAA counselling process.
