72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bio Sciences and Bio Engineering is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu. Ph.D. programme shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.

Calm campus which is good for research.

IIT Jammu’s PhD Bio Sciences got nice infra. Labs modern with cell culture, gene sequencing tools, supports research well. Library stocked, fast wifi campus wide. AC classrooms, smart boards. Hostels clean, small rooms. Scenic hills, but some areas under construction. Gym basic, sports field okay.
