Hello aspirant,

The cutoff of all the Medical colleges of Delhi is quite high. Last year also most of the government medical colleges had cutoff of 550 to 560+ or even more than that in state quota. And for All India Quota it's much more. For private colleges also the cutoff is high. This year the cutoff may increase. So you don't have much chance. Even in private colleges with a score of 336 you don't have much chance. If you want to predict the colleges visit the link.

Thank you.

Hey Tanishq.

Which degree out of these 2 colleges would hold value would totally depend on the Career Preference that you have. If you want to go into litigation ( practice as a lawyer in courts), or for judiciary/ UPSC, or go for teaching or go abroad then let me tell you, that the name of the college in the degree will have no affect in that whatsoever. But if you're looking for a corporate practice in future and dependent on the college for placements then the college might matter. Both the colleges VIPS and Jamia have a long list of advocates, firms, organisation under which students have been placed. But the personal opinion of students from the colleges differ that the placements are more as per personal contacts instead of the college's placement cell. So these colleges might not be the best in terms of corporate law. Both colleges are located in delhi with a good exposure as district courts, high court, supreme court, various law firms being in the same city.

But the factors you should consider while deciding are the difference in fees in the two, your convenience related to travel, attendance etc.  Also that USLLS is preferred more than VIPS from colleges under IPU so there will be better exposure there instead of in VIPs. And it seems that Jamia does have a better edge in this term from  VIPS.

Best of luck

Hello Anshumali,

Usually Jamia Hamdard University accepts students that have a score higher than 450 in NEET. This has been the previous trend. However, apply for the college as the neet counseling rounds are on right now, you’ll get a sure answer of whether you qualify for the college or not on the basis of neet marks.

Hello jessia,

Well for getting a government mbbs seat, you need to score 550+ in general category. So it would be a little difficult to get a government mbbs seat. However, you can go for paramedical courses such as radiology, physiotherapy, ayurvedic, nursing or more.

All the best.

Hello Varuna,

Since you did not mention about your category, I will tell you about the general category cut off. And your marks do fall in the range of cut off. Most probably there is a chance for you to get in. Stay in touch with the official dates and check meticulously.

Dear aspirant,
Marks-sheet of qualifying examination (X, XII, Graduation whichever applicable)
Admit Card and Scorecard
Migration Certificate and Character Certificate
Printout of online application form
Six passport size colour photograph

Hello Shalini!

Last year the cut off was based only on NEET and hence it was 300 marks for SFS and 400 marks for regular. This year, jamia hamdard is accepting both JEE and NEET so marks will vary  and will accept  about 350 from NEET and 130 from JEE.

Best of luck.

My college life was that good but it was great for regular students. Classrooms are good, and there are smart classrooms .Labs are well-equipped Books were provided by the college at the beginning of every semester. The hostel fee is more, but the sports facilities are good and well-maintained.

The college is located in south delhi. All the hotspot are closer to my college. JHU has pretty huge campus and has 5 gates for entry and exit. And JHU is full of trees. I have seen peacocks and neelgai over here.
