the infrastructure is just okay there is only one fan in my departments mostly class rooms there is no proper basic facilities no proper water supply and even there is no proper sitting area for peoples who waiting for their children's or anyone .
teachers are nice and polite they are very friendly towards students mostly syllabus are theoritical and the teachers helps in our studies but some teacher dont have any practical knowledge about their subject
the placement cell , placement are just sucks there is no placement even they just share the information with student which is not suppose to told to the students there is no hope for jobs internships etc
The infrastructure of my college is satisfactory but still has scope for improvement. The classrooms are functional and equipped with basic facilities such as proper seating arrangements, fans, and lighting, which make the learning environment comfortable. However, the classrooms are not very modern, and the use of advanced teaching tools like smart boards or updated audio-visual equipment is limited.
The academic environment of my college is strong and well-structured. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to helping students understand concepts clearly. They use effective teaching methods and encourage students to participate in discussions, presentations, and assignments, which enhances learning and confidence.
The placement opportunities in my college are very poor and need significant improvement. The college does not provide enough support or proper guidance to help students secure good jobs after graduation. Very few companies visit the campus for recruitment, and the number of placement drives conducted is limited.
The college offers an average value for money experience. The fees structure is reasonable compared to many other institutions, and students are able to access basic academic facilities and campus services within this cost. However, the overall return on investment is moderate, as some areas such as infrastructure development and placement opportunities could be improved.
Campus life in the college is enjoyable and provides a positive experience for students. The environment is friendly, safe, and welcoming, which helps students feel comfortable and engaged throughout their academic journey. Students get opportunities to interact with peers from different backgrounds, which encourages teamwork and personal growth.
Overall experience is good.

B.Com Honours department, the quality of facilities varies a lot. Some students say that basic things like proper classrooms, enough chairs or desks, clean washrooms, and Wi-Fi are either missing or not in good condition. Classrooms often have just fans and no air-conditioning, and some students complain that the infrastructure can feel old or unfinished.
When it comes to teaching and academics, most students find the syllabus and exams to be traditional and theory-focused. Professors cover the core commerce topics, and many faculty members are experienced in their subject areas. Some students say teachers are helpful, kind, and supportive, especially if you ask questions or need guidance for exam
this is the weakest part of the B.Com Hons experience at Jiwaji University. Many reviews clearly mention that there are almost no campus recruitment drives or large companies visiting specifically for B.Com students. Some batches report that no internships or jobs are arranged by the university placement cell, and students are usually responsible for finding opportunities on their own.
Personally, I believe the infrastructure of my college is top-notch. It really gives a good vibe the campus is green and environmentally friendly. The university is really big and very good infrastructure.
While the campus and building is really nice and good. But, the academics parts laggs in some areas as their are no air conditioning and no personal touch from the college. The classrooms are also not very comfortable.
Based on NIRF ranking of 2024 for jiwaji university, the median package provided by the placement cell is approximately around 2.8 lacks which is not very good, but it works just fine for UG degrees .
The university has a large, green campus in Gwalior with spacious academic blocks and a central library stocked with commerce and management resources. Computer labs are functional with internet access, though upgrades are gradual. Classrooms are airy but mostly traditional in setup. Basic sports and hostel facilities are available, making the environment decent for B.Com students.
The B.Com program follows a structured syllabus covering accounting, business law, economics, taxation, and management. Faculty members are experienced and supportive, explaining concepts clearly and guiding students for exams and competitive tests. The teaching style is mainly theory-focused, with limited industry exposure. Regular internal assessments and semester exams maintain academic discipline.
Placements for B.Com are moderate, with limited on-campus opportunities compared to professional courses. Some local companies and financial firms visit for recruitment, offering entry-level roles in sales, accounting, and administration. Many students pursue higher studies like M.Com, MBA, or competitive exams. Placement support exists, but students often rely on off-campus efforts.
there are large, green campus with basic academic facilities, including decent classrooms and a useful library with space for study. Some batches mention that labs and Wi-Fi could be better, but overall the campus environment feels peaceful and adequate for learning and daily college life
B.Com classes being supportive and helpful, with faculty generally knowledgeable and approachable, helping clarify concepts in core commerce subjects. The curriculum covers key areas like accounting, finance, and business law, which provides a solid foundation for further studies like CA/CS or MBA pathways
placement opportunities exist for B.Com students, with a percentage securing internships and job offers in companies visiting the university or via self-arranged interviews. While not as high as top private colleges, campus connects and alumni help many students get roles in finance, banking, or sales sectors.
the large, green campus with good classrooms and a calm learning environment, noting decent libraries, reading rooms, and hostel facilities in several programs. Some departments mention functional Wi-Fi, labs, and sports/medical facilities that support studies and campus life well, making the infrastructure comfortable for many learners.
the faculty are well-qualified, supportive and knowledgeable, helping students grasp concepts and succeed in exams. Some reviews say the curriculum is relevant and helps build fundamental skills, while approachable teachers offer extra guidance and motivation, creating a positive academic experience overal
Several students report good placement experiences in specific courses, with moderate to strong internship and job opportunities. In some streams, a significant percentage of students secured internships or placements with decent packages, and recruiting companies visited campus regularly, reflecting an improving placement scenario for those programs.
the campus as large and green with basic facilities like classrooms, library, hostels, labs and gardens, but many parts are dated and need maintenance. Some report good reading rooms and spaces; others say Wi-Fi is limited or absent, labs need upgrades, and restrooms/mess areas could improve. Experiences vary widely by department
academics is mixed. Many find faculty qualified, supportive, and helpful in core subjects, but note teaching is often theory-focused with limited real-world/practical exposure. Some students feel the curriculum has value, while others say industry-relevant skills and practical learning are lacking, so self-study is essential.
Placement is poor to moderate. A common theme is that few companies visit on campus, and many students secure internships or jobs on their own. Placement support is often described as limited, with low percentages placed in many courses; average salary offers are generally modest. Some programs see better opportunities, but overall placements lag.
