36 MonthsBachelor of Arts is a three-year duration undergraduate degree in Distance Mode course offered by Karnataka State Open University, Mysore.
Medium of instruction followed for B.A., Degree Course is either in Kannada or English. The study material will be available both in Kannada and English language. Students can answer examination either in Kannada or in English.
The learners can choose any two languages and three optional of their choice.
- Languages offered – Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Telugu
- Optional offered – Kannada, English, Hindi, Urdu, History, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Anthropology, Education, Psychology, Geography.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the Two Year Pre-University examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in Karnataka State;
or
Any other examination considered as equivalent there to;
or
Candidates from other states who have successfully completed 12 years of schooling (either 10+2 or 11+1 or Higher Secondary Examination-12 Years of Schooling) excluding Nursery Education.
or
Pre University Examination in Vocational Courses conducted by the Department of Vocational Education, Government of Karnataka
