KSOU Mysore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

KSOU college has a well-furnished hostel for girls which holds a capacity of 56 students at a time. Two students can easily stay in each room with a mere rent of Rs 50/- per person (and Rs 250 as a refundable security deposit per person). If a student is found to be staying in a room without a legitimate invoice then they will be charged a penalty. Students must maintain proper discipline inside the KSOU campus.

KSOU college library had its establishment along with the institute and is located in the Academic block of the main building. The library is available to all the students and readers and is also accessible virtually and KSOU Mysore library is planning to provide resources for visually challenged students as well. Library has various facilities to offer, such as Bibliographical information service, Current awareness service, Photocopy service, E-Resources information centre, and Electronic journals.

The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

KSOU campus offers canteen facilities for the students who come to the institute, canteen is also available to faculty, staff and non-student visitors. The canteen is well-maintained and clean, the food is nutritious and appetising with a reasonable and budget-friendly price since students at the KSOU college need a good diet to focus on their studies.

KSOU Mysore also provides a separate hostel for male students at the institute, there are seven hostels with three rooms each with a capacity of 3 students a room. The rent is the same for the boys as well being Rs 50/- per student for a day(and a refundable security deposit of Rs 250 per student). Damage to the KSOU infrastructure will not be taken lightly and the institution will take strict action. The rooms are granted on the “first come-first served” basis with no room for preferential accommodation.

The college has Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

KSOU Mysore has discipline based laboratories available to all its students with trained and experienced staff to regulate the laboratories. KSOU facilities that are provided in laboratories are Botany laboratory, Physics laboratory, Language laboratory, Food, Science and Nutrition laboratory, Zoology laboratory, Microbiology laboratory, Information Technology laboratory, Computer laboratory, and Chemistry laboratory.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

KSOU campus offers a Health Care Centre facility to the students staying at the campus and it is located in the north-west of the campus. Currently it only provides OPD facilities with regular doctors and other medical staff on-duty. 

KSOU campus has a huge, well furnished and clean guest house which is located in the north-west of the campus and is about 200 metres from the academic block. It accommodates academicians so they can focus on their work. The guest house has 75 rooms, VIP, VVIP suites and other necessary and latest facilities. KSOU Mysore offers accommodation to resource persons, expert academicians, councillors, and partaking managers of other institutions as well. 

KSOU Mysore provides an ATM and Bank facility inside the campus, a branch of State Bank of India(SBI) takes care of the basic requirements of the students, faculty and staff as well. It takes care of the urgent need of money and other required transactions of the students at the campus. The Bank and the ATM are under CCTV surveillance 24x7 to keep it safe.

KSOU college has sports facilities and an in-campus GYM available for its students and staff as well to keep them physically fit and entertained. It has a well equipped gym and basketball court and a cricket ground, it also offers indoor games facilities like table tennis, carrom, ludo, chess, and many other sports.
