MANIT for me is not just a college, it’s like another world. The first time you enter the college for your enrolment, you will be bewildered with the beauty of the campus. A college usually is a place where you learn your academics and move on. But MANIT is something which made my personality better. My life has two phases now; before MANIT and after coming to MANIT. This is a ragging free campus. MANIT has a good academic schedule and it is strictly followed. We get to witness great placements every year.

Though I have just been through 2 years of my college life and apparently I am a half engineer , this college has taught me what life is in a miniature scale. In life we will be facing both good and bad and real hero comes out only from the person who can face them both and take them as he wants. The not so good features of this college are poor infrastructure , poor teaching, age old techniques of teaching, not so skilled teachers, the inefficiency of college in not being able to provide basic facilities. While the best features of college are good student atmosphere and good sports facilities, very large campus. Bhopal is not a love at first site place but as the time passes it's the most livable city ever. This is why i say, when one leaves this college one will have loads of memories compared to their technical knowledge.

Experienced a roller coaster that only went up.

The infrastructure of this college is quite well built but as the college stands with a reputation of an old and established college, some parts of it requires renovation. Apart from it, the campus covers a huge area of 650 acres with lush greenery and it's a treat to be here during the monsoon. The corporate exposure of this college is not so good as being a typical government college, it promotes only basic academic education, for which it can try to communicate with the corporate world. The college life is quite happening during the fests as the environment gets lively but it can be enhanced by regular happening of events and active participation from students. During my 3 years stay at this college, it has been a good experience in terms of every genre. Also, I was able to bag a paid internship at an MNC named United Health Group. Hostel experience has not been par excellence as the infrastructure is old and it lacks some preliminary facilities, but the companionship proved quite satisfying. As I said companionship was of great help in surviving the difficult times so it clearly shows diversification is pretty well accepted in this college campus. Being an NIT, fees of this college is pretty affordable and the hostel and mess fees are quite reasonable. All in all, the college experience has been impeccable in every sense and it helped me a lot to grow as a person. Moreover, campus experience has been quite well in all the sense.

Faculty is worst and infrastructure is poor. Classes will not be conducted properly and placements are not bad due to the popularity of institute outside. Most of the time is free. Good sign of freedom. Anyone can do anything he likes. There should be some strict rules to make it better

As an NIT everyone expects it to have good infrastructure ,experienced faculty, good placements and others. Placements are good in the institute mainly for cse students but the infrastructure is poor. classes will not be conducted properly which will teach students how to prepare for anything on their own. Hostels are bad for first years and second years on account of boys but they are good from second year onward for girls. Internet speed is average in hostels. Student himself should try to involve in college activities and participate in events and workshops. Lot of free time is available and anyone can enjoy the time with friends or use it for studies as there are more bunks and very few classes will be conducted. Teaching will be majorly in Hindi during first year which is a major problem for non Hindi students. But if a student has confidence, courage to face things and some management skills , he can do anything he want in college. No one likes the college in the beginning but later on most of the students think to spend mostly in college with friends.
