Eligibility Criteria
B.E. /B. Tech. degree in Food Science / Food Science and Technology /Food Technology and Management / Food Technology/Dairy & Food Technology/Dairy & Food Engineering/ Agricultural and Food Engineering/Four years Bachelor’s degree or a Master's degree in Agriculture with Agronomy/Horticulture/ Vegetable sciences OR M.Sc. Food Science/Food Technology/ Food Science and Technology from a recognized University/Institute. Non agriculture/Non Food candidate would be asked to register for relevant deficiency courses.
Admission Details
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
