Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Food Process Engineering and Management is a two-year full-time postgraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat.
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
B.E./B.Tech degree in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Food Technology and Management/Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/Food Engineering/Dairy Engineering / Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Process Engineering/Agricultural & Food Engineering /Agricultural Engineering / Bio Chemical Engineering / Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering OR in related allied field from a recognized University/Institute. Deficiency courses would be offered to the applicants with above prescribed non-food Degrees
