72 MonthsPh.D Agriculture and Environmental Sciences shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
M.Tech. in Food Science/Food Technology and Management/Food Safety and Quality Management/Food Supply Chain Management OR M.Sc. Degree in Food Science & Technology / Life Science/Agriculture/Environmental and Allied area from a recognsied institute/university.
Admission Details
All candidates shall have to appear for Research Entrance Test (RET) to be organized by NIFTEM in its campus followed by interview for the candidates who qualify RET. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of RET (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage). Due weightage will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.
