The Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 3 year program offered by the Faculty of Medicine's department of Paramedical and Health Sciences. Students who get to pursue this program get an exposure to the fundamental aspects of medical laboratory to shape their foundation in the field. The program utilises scientific methods for detecting, treating, curing and preventing human diseases and infection through laboratory tests. The laboratory technicians are professionals who are involved in conducting test procedures with the help of laboratory equipments whose results are recorded for medical purposes or breakthrough discoveries.
