The Department of Mechanical Engineering is one of the pioneering departments of Rungta Group of Institutions, with highly qualified faculty with Ph.D., who have published more than 200 Research papers in international or national journals and conferences. The department has been accredited by the NBA. B.E in Mechanical Engineering is a comprehensive programme focusing on making students ready for technological careers in Mechanical and other industries. Apart from the regular curriculum, the department conducts various National and International Conferences, Faculty Development Program (FDP), Guest Lectures, Keynote Speeches, Workshops, Industrial Visits, Student Level National Technical Symposia and value added courses to help the learning curve mount high.
