I think SVNIT have best infrastructure in comparison of all others nit's. Campus of svnit is very beautiful and have good environment in it. There is not any pollution near the campus so it is good for healthy. I'm enjoying alot at here because I found svnit is best for me in any point of view. If we talk about placement in campus then average package in civil engineering is 5LPA and highest is 19lakh per annum(In BPCL) and lowest is 3.5LPA . IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING average around 6.5lpa and highest is 19LPA(IN BPCL) . IN computer engineering avg. 9lpa and highest 27lpa. Etc. And svnit hostel is very best and there is proper cleaning of hostel.

If asked to give a holistic rating to SVNIT, it definitely stands above average among Engineering colleges of India. For me , my experience of 4 years there really lies close to my heart. Ohh.. I just grew nostalgic..But talking practically, I would list down the upsides and downsides. Upsides: > Gives exposure to the melange of people hailing from different parts of the country with different cultures and ideas. Sure to find some interesting people and intellectuals around. > Placements are decent. >College fests are grand and give opportunities to take up responsibilities and manage. >I was a day scholar but, as I know, hostel and food facilities are very good. >Good internet connectivity and library facilities. >Seniors can be great help too. >Campus spread over 265 acres, home to many peacocks, has idyllic charm. Downsides >Except for few faculty members, quality of faculty is frankly, poor. (But it does not matter much, some students manage to take up projects on their own and can get the help from some profs. too. ) >Curriculum is not that challenging.

SVNIT is one good place where people learn new things not only in studies but also in life. It's one of the top colleges in India. The staff over here is well and good, in research, there is a lot of scope over here. But the main problem is the industrial tours and not so good practical teachings, placement over here are comparatively good and overall it's just fine college.

Proud to be in "SVNIT". SVNIT is located in the best area for industrial exposure for civil, chemical and mechanical engineering. SVNIT give the opportunity for the trip for civil engineering in every year at different places. Faculty for civil eng. is best at SVNIT. And for placement best company for civil engineering, like L&T is also coming. Overall for college life, it is the best college.

It's like my dream come true because I always used to say I want to be an NITian from my 10th. The first thing that I am experienced is to live without my mummy so, I have to do each and everything myself. Second thing is that I came from spoon feeding type of study so, I didn't like to study without it but, now I am liking it. I haven't experienced hostel and college life before but I can say that it fulfills all my requirements. And last I would like to add that infrastructure of my college stands next to IIT Bombay in the west zone.
