Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course in the field of Mechanical Engineering. After B. Tech the students are capable to work for Govt./ Public/MNCs or can do master course like Master of Technology (M .Tech) in the specialization such as Design, Fluid & Thermal, Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering or Master in Business Administration ( MBA) or Fellow program in Management from IIMs directly. It is an engineering degree that prepares students for a career involving designing, development, manufacturing, and use of mechanical tools to solve mechanical problems.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/ State Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Computer Science/Technical Vocational Subject with minimum aggregate marks of 45%.

SRMU provides 100% placements assistance to student . Many reputed companies visit the campus every year . The placement cell actively trains students through aptitude classes , soft - skill development , and interview preparation , helping them secure good job opportunities.

The campus infrastructure is really good. Classrooms are modern labs are well equipped and the library has a great collection Wi-Fi works fine most of the time too. and every building have lift in all block.
GOOD IN TERMS OF ACADEMICS, HAS SCOPE OF IMPROVEMENT.
