Bachelor of Art in French Honours is a full-time four-year duration undergraduate course and this degree offered by Visva Bharati Santiniketan.

Eligibility Criteria

For General Candidates: 60% marks in aggregate & 60% marks in General English at the +2 level.
For OBC Candidates: 54 % marks in aggregate & 54 % marks in General English at the +2 level.

Note: Students do not require any prior knowledge in French as these languages will be taught from the zero levels.

Admission Details

College Infrastructure

Visva-Bharati’s wide, artistic campus offers a unique charm. However, hostel facilities could be improved. Beautiful open spaces and cultural landmarks create a great atmosphere. A few academic blocks need renovation.

College Infrastructure

A strong foundation underlies the Visva Bharati experience. The campus is enormous and contains imposing edifices. Superior planning means the internal road networks are effective, and campus safety is a major priority.

It is very satisfying to learn a foreign language here.
