24 MonthsMaster of Education is a full-time two-year/ Four Semester Programme offered by the Department of Education, Vinaya-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. its recognized by NCTE.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. the programme should have obtained at least 50 % marks or an equivalent Grade in the following programmes:
a. B.Ed b. BA. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed c. B.El.Ed. d. D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree ( with 50 % marks in each).
Reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other applicable categories shall be as per the rules of the central Government.
Admission Details
There shall be an Entrance Test for eligible candidates and selection will be made on the basis of merit only which will be determined by the score obtained by the candidates out of maximum 100 marks.
- Academic Score From Class X to PG & B.Ed. - 50 marks
- Admission Test - 50 marks
In Career Marking five components (i.e. Aggregate marks obtained in 10th, 12th, Graduation and Post Graduation.) will be evaluated in 50 marks by distributing 10 marks for each.
The medium of Entrance test will be English only. However, The medium of examination is either Bengali or English and the medium of classroom instruction is Bengali/English/Hindi.
