Visva Bharati University Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Mera college ka infrastructure lagbhag achha hai hostel bahut purana hai lekin library, wifi ki suwidha bahut hi achha hai mess unhygienic hai khana achha nhi milta jiske wajah se bahut problem face karna par rha hai.

Mere department mai teacher achhe hai achha padhate hai hamare department mai 3 faculties hai jo ki padhayi ke saath saath aur bhi bahut chijo mai help karte hai jaise games , placement, aur bahut supportive bhi hai .

I am department of German .padhayi to achha hai but placement nhi hai yaha pe ,koi bhi company yaha nhi aati aur na hi koi interview liya jata hai jiske wajah se placement nhi ho pata ,aur hmlogo ko itna padhne ke baad job nhi mil pata .

Overall sb kuchh achha hai lekin placement nhi hai .

It is outstanding. We have library where we get all our study related books. We don't have to buy books. We have projector which we can use for presentation and to see study videos. Our university provide many sports courses like NCC,NSS .

Academy quality is very good in our university especially in our English department. We have many professor. They all teaching us different topics. They also help us to make assignments and presentation.

Our department doesn't give placement. Though they help us and guide us to get prepared for jobs. Our seniors found job by their own and the salary starts from 30000. Teachers tell what kind of job we can apply and what will be better for us.

My course cost per year 600 rupees. I think I am getting my money worth because we get all the study benefits from our respected professor.

We celebrate farewell and freshers for students and teachers. Like this many kind of program we arrange and we perform on it. Our stuffs, teachers all are very supportive and they handle all the emergency related to study and other.

Many study related places is situated in our university which we can visit and its gain our knowledge. Our university's hospital is very good this is open all time for us.

University infrastructure, facilities are good. We have yoga park where we can practice yoga. This is open for outside people also. We have yoga garden from this garden's tree we collect and make medicine. We have library in our department. All is well maintained.

Our professor are very talented and educated. They are very good in behaviour. They practice us a lot and try to make the perfection. Their theory classes are also good. If we don't attend classes then they scolded us.

Dew students from our department get placement. In last year some of our seniors get job from our department. They got job in yoga studio or in private school. Salary start from 25000. Our department wast supportive.

Our course fees in per year for total 600 rupees. For me this course is value for money because we can learn a lot instead of this.

We do practice yoga and meditation from dawn. This is very peaceful for mind. We spend our time in this. Also we attend many seminar related our study.

The best part of our department is they give us new research topic and we research on this. We can gained our experience for this.

There is a smart TV in each classroom and university network is also available .There are many useful books in the library. Everything is well - maintained . Especially Japanese movie screening on every Friday is truly beneficial for Japanese listening practice

I'm studying japanese and the teachers are very skillful .They teach us sincerely and make the things understandable. All the upgraded equipments are used and these make us ready for job. Expecially Japanese movie screening on every Friday is very beneficial for Japanese listening practice which is also very important for interviews in Japanese company.

Placements are average. Although scholarships and opportunities of visiting Japan under different scholarship program are available. Students can visit Japan and earn realistic experience of communicating in Japanese.

My course costs around ₹2500 and yes its very much worth.

College campus is very much eco-friendly. All the equipments needed in emergency are available. And obviously the campus is safe.

The college has all the equipments that we need in the class like wifi, smart TVs, speakers, etc. But we do not have sufficient chairs and benches so we have to sit on the floor while lectures. The living spaces are clean enough, the garden has a good view, well maintained. I personally love the library service of the university.

I'm currently studying in Japanese department, persuing BA honours in Japanese language and culture. I feel very connected to Asian languages so I chose Japanese as my major. The curriculum of the college includes all the developments in the field like translation classes. Japanese institutions always visit our department so we also get to experience speaking to the native speakers. And yes, i feel like I've improved a lot because of the facilities that we recieve here.

As the universities and institutions related to the major subjects always visit us I've heard a lot of my seniors got placements in really good places. The packages are well enough. As I'm still in my third year and I've seen my seniors getting placements as soon as they graduate with good grades.

For a student from a middle class family, I feel like the money that costs for my course is more than best. And yes I feel like I am getting my money's worth because I've always recieved help from the teachers here. The staffs are super friendly, and the all over environment is really nice.

The best feature of my college campus is it's nature, garden, sculptures and many more. It's calming to look at and somehow helps the mind to focus on studies. Functions for different occasions are always the best part. We, students decorate, arrange all by ourselves. It's best for teamwork and having fun together.

Very good faculty and infrastructure for studying a foreign language. Interactive classes with highly qualified teaching staff. The cleanliness of the department is also regularly maintained. Students get to learn the course in depth with amazing teaching methods used by the Professors here.

I am studying Japanese language and Culture here. I always had a keen eye for learning Japanese as I want to further pursue animation in Japan. Learning Japanese in Nippon Bhawan of Visva Bharati gives me great exposure to Native Japanese professors and visitors. We get to interact with them and exchange our thoughts. The curriculum is regularly updated in accordance to the trends followed in Japan. We are also guided to appear for JLPT examinations.

Every year we get to see companies entering for campus placements but the issue is that the placement seems biased towards female students. Of course the person who is highly competent gets the placement but I have hardly seen any male student getting that opportunity. If this sector is repaired then there won't be a problem for the upcoming student and me myself as a running student of this department. The highest package according to what I know is around 12-15 LPA offered. The placement process is as usual as it happens everywhere. The Biased placement system is the only problem that every batch faces and also campus placement rate too seems to be low, only a small fraction of students get placed.

According to me, I am here to learn the language and the culture so I think I have got enough opportunities to learn them in depth. My course package costs around 8-10k which is very cheap so even if I get a minimum package salaried job, my ROI still remains high.

The campus is very beautiful and as everyone knows Visva Bharati is the only living heritage university powered by UNESCO itself. The campus is filled with greenary, gardens, museums and historical sites. The campus has a very active Anti ragging department due to which our university rarely faces any Ragging cases. Only problem is politics. Students often indulge in political parties such as SFI, ABVP, TMC student council etc. According to me politics shouldnt affect students. Students are here to learn and make a future out of the process. Politics is ruining that.

Canteens should have more seating spaces or more canteens should be built as there are alot of students and not everyone can fit in during the lunch hours. Students often need to go outside the campus and eat fast food as lunch. Also what I feel that the Nippon Bhawan does not get much attention from the University administration. Our department seems to have the lowest budget than any other department.

College infranstructure is excellent. We have all necessary things. We have water purifier, clean washroom, meeting room and enough classroom. The wifi connection is very good and the network is available everywhere.

I'm studying hindi language because I love this language and this is my mother tongue. The quality of teaching is good and we have many professor for teaching. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. This study makes me job ready day by day.

Our hindi department doesn't give placement. They help us to give exam for jobs or in the case of preparing exam but directly they don't offer us for any type of jobs. We want that they give us placement.

My course cost per year 600 rupees. Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth because the teaching quality is pretty good.

Our campus life is very enjoyable and hostel life also. The hostel where we live the food of this hostel is very tasty and hostel and campus both is safe.

We want placement from our department. It is too much headache for us to find a job immediately after completing degree if they give us then we will be happy.

Yes, college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. As a chemistry honors student I can say that we got every equipment during our lab work.We have also have wifi connection in our campus. We have air conditioning room for our classes. Our faculties are so helpful.College campus is very neat and clean.

I am currently pursuing BSc honors in chemistry.I get more intereste in this subject. That is why I have taken this course.Quality of teaching is good enough. The only problem is we have so much classes in our daily schedule that we don't get time for self study at home.Being job ready is totally dependent on our study. If i want to go for higher ,it will take some time to get job.

There is no placement from our college. We need to crack competitive examinations to get job.we need to study harder to get job.Nowadays there is a lot of competition. In chemistry after MSc we get placed in laboratory. But that is not from college placement.

It is quite cheap.

Location is good.college campus environment is also good. But we don't have any sports culture like other colleges.

No

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment such as smart classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centre, educational clubs and hostels. Also the campus is clean and hygienic.

I am studying B.A (Honours) in Japanese Language. The teachers of my department are very helpful and encourage students in every aspect. Also the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in this field.

Over these years, the placements given by the department have been great. Most of the students who seek for a job, get selected with their skills and ability, that they learn through the course with the help of faculties.

As my university is a central university, it costs me around 3000 per year. So, I feel it is definitely worth it.

I feel the college campus is one of the most beautiful campuses in the state. Teachers, staff members are very kind and helpful towards students.

It definately has good infrastructure. We have our own library, smart tv, ac, seminar hall and Wi-Fi. The living place is also hygienic enough and the outside area is clean as well. It has quite big parking lot.

I'm studying B.A.(hons) in Japanese. It has really good scope in this job market and till now almost every pass out is employed. Vbu provides a good foundation in Japanese language, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and culture. It also focuses on the translation part.

I'm still a undergraduate student but as far as I know most of seniors are employed and from both work from home and on site. The average salary is 60,000. The placement process was a bit delayed but yes college was supportive.

It costs arround It doesn't cost much and compared to other universities it is really cheap and it provides the best facilities.

Campus is really peaceful and spacious. There are lot of greenery. ECA classes are also really vital here.
