Visva Bharati University Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

There is a lack of black boards for writing or smart boards. We have all the facilities but those are not well maintained . The water system doesn't work properly. Food hygiene and cleaning is poor .

I am studying Japanese. One or two teachers are good rests are just phd scholars who teaches us instead of actual professors. Phd scholars are instructed to teach us. Well the curriculum is updated but that doesn't make us job ready.

There is no placement facility in my university. Not even internship. Although it is provided by the university but there are taking money for the internship. That's also something totally unrelated to being job ready.

This is the cheapest place to get a degree.

In terms of infrastructure this university has a lot of things including its own auditorium, central library, digital class rooms , tons of hostels, also good quality sports facilities, gym ,free wifi for students and faculty in each department, canteens, a science building for all kind of labs, bus and shuttle services within the campus , the world heritage sites, museum and a lot of things . Though, all of this needs a time to time maintenance to keep it running smoothly. The canteens needs to add more good quality food options .

I'm currently pursuing Japanese honours degree from Nippon Bhavan, Visva Bharati . We have a really good quality faculty with experienced and qualified professors. There are also digital screens in the class rooms for audio visual classes. Along with the implementation of the NEP course our curriculum is updated along with that . But I also think that we need a separate listening room and equipments as listening is a very important part while studying japanese and also there is a need to add japanese speaking classes or something like that to improve our speaking skills .

Campus placement doesn't happen that much here after the covid times . Majority of the placements are through referral. But campus placement do happen in some departments. For a example accenture and tcs like fresher companies use to do campusing in our department. But the placement cell needs to work activitely and the departments should also arrange something for better placements.

As it is a central university it has a really low admission and yearly charges.

You have tons of things to explore in this university. Majorly the cultural programs of this university which makes it stand out among most of the universities. Also there are many exposures that you can experience here . For the foreign language departments there are frequently held events with the natives . And also exchange programs are there .Also the location where the university is situated ( santiniketan) is a very safe place . Also the police department and fire department are also situated in the campus area .also the peaceful atmosphere of santiniketan can really heal anyone .

The infrastructure here is quite overwall .the university, built by Rabindranath is very beautiful and charming.we also have provide facilities like library, wifi ,. however, hostel mess are unhygienic.

I am student of french department.i am learning French language because many job in this field, like embassy,IB , translator, others many options, but I have only two faculty members so many facing problems in my study.

No, placement in my department because no company comes here and not hiring but others department gives placement like social work, kala bhawana ,and chinese department and sallary package also average.

Overall all this university is good , however there are some problems in certain department.

Mai french department ka student hu ,yaha ka infrastructure achha hai but facilities bahut kam hai kuchh kuchh department mai facilities hai but mere department mai 2 hi hai.hostel achha hai but mess provide nhi hai .

Hamare teachers pahle bahut achhe the but abhi kuchh mahino se teachers ka kami ho gya jiske wajah se padhayi mai problem ho rha hai aur job aur koi activities mai teacher support nhi karte hai lekin sports mai support karte hai .

Yaha placement nhi bahut bekar hai ,mere department mai 20% placement hai aur salary package bhi highest nhi hai ,koi koi department mai salary package highest hai but mere department ka around 30 hajar monthly hai .

Environment kafi sant hai hostel bhi achha hai mess provide nhi hai .

Our university's infrunstructure, facilities and equipment all are well maintained. We have big laboratory for our practical and there are all necessary equipments. We have library in our chemistry department and another central library for all.

Very good. We have class everyday from morning to evening time. We do practical everyday and give test on it. We have enough professor in department. They are very careful about our study. They help us in everything.

Our department give placement to excellent students. They offer us every year to pass out students for corporate jobs. This is a very good things. They always motivate us. They tell us how to take preparation for jobs.

This course is totally value for money. We get all our notes and study material from department. In a year we have to pay 600 rupees this is not much.

We attend many programs and seminars in our university. We enjoy a lot those moments.staff, students all are very supportive. They can handle all the emergency.

Our campus is very peaceful and safe. We have many trees in our campus area. Academic quality is also very good.

University all infrunstuctues and facilities are good. The wifi connection, laboratories all we have. We have many sports courses in our university, like NCC, cricket. We have separate sports ground and buscket ball area.

It is average. We have shortage of professor. We have one professor and one guest lecturer. They don't get time to take our all classes so we have to do complete our syllabus by doing group study and watching videos.

They don't give us placement. The salary in for our russian language expert job starts from 30k. But if they give us placement it would be very helpful for us. They give us all guidelines about our government and corporate but don't placed us.

Per semester we have to pay 300 rupees and per year we have to pay 600. This is not so much. The hostel fees and food expenses are also low.

We visit our museum and other places in our university. We go every week to upasana griha for prayers. All department's stuff, faculty members and professor are good.

We have swimming pool, yoga park in our university. We visit this sometime.

We have all necessary things. All the parking area is very good. Every places are hygienic and clean but the female washroom is became dirty sometimes. They need to maintain it to keep it clean. The library's infrastructure is good.

We need a native speaker in specifically during exam time. It will increases our speaking quality. They need to give more focus in studying literature and grammar. We need more professor because it is tough to complete all the things by only two professor.

There is no placement for us. We need to do extra things and we get extra preparation beyond our class. They don't think about our placement. They only tell us how can I apply for jobs or what kind of job opportunities we have.

Base on this fees this is reasonable. Only 600 rupees we have to pay per year for this course.

This is very enthusiastic. We spend our day with learning and doing many new things. All are very supportive in our department. We have our own campus's hospital and they can handle all the emergency.

We have a issue with our card because we have library and identity card separately. So in some places they ask for identity card and some ask for library card. So it became tough to carry both card so we need only one combined card.

The lift in our building is make problem sometimes. We get stuck in the lift sometimes. So they have to repare it. Otherwise mishaps can occur any time. Classroom, wifi network, library, sports centre all are good.

Till now professor teaching us and helping us in such a good way. But it became pressure for only two teachers to complete all the syllabus. We need more teachers immediately. Otherwise we have to complete it by using internet.

They never give any placement after completing our degree. After completing masters also they don't give us any placement. There is the percentage of placement is zero. Some department of our university give placement but not mine.

Per year this course cost only 600 rupees. This is not much though. But if they give us placement this money would be more worthy to us.

Campus life is good. Every stuffs, teachers and students are very helpful and their behaviour with us is very gentle.

Our university's nature is very good. We have many trees in our department which give us fresh air. All students maintain this transparency.

Yes we all the necessary equipment. We have central library where we get every books. We have parking area in all the department and library. We don't have smart board but we have projector. Yes all things are used and well maintained. It causes problems sometimes.

I'm studying Russian language because I was interested to learn this. The quality is not that bad. Professor give us all advices and tips how to study and prepare. They give us all materials for exams. We are preparing for exam.

Very bad placement. We are very worried about out future and career. We are thinking that how we get any jobs because they don't give us placement. We were requested many times for starting the placement system.

Per semester we cost only 300 rupees. So this is not so much. We don't need to pay any other fees like library or for any sports course. So this course is worth for money.

We enjoy a lot our campus life. We do dance and songs and many cultural programs. Sometimes we make poster.

Our university's hospital is very neet and clean. Our canteen is also very clean and food is hygienic.

yaha environment aur infrastructure kafi achha hai ,khana bhi bahut achha milta hai ,hostel bhi bahut achha hai,hm sb ko bahut achha facility dete hai yaha ki purani painting ,aur rabindra musuem bahut hi adhbhut hai.

my department china bhawana ,bahut achha department hai ,hamare yaha bahut achhe faculities hai ,jo hm sb ko padhayi ke saath saath aur chijo mai help karte hai ,jaise job dilane mai ,koi intreview dene nai ,speech dene mai.

china bhawana ka plcement bahut hi achha hai ,lagbhag yaha ka average package sbse jayda 20 lakh per year hai ,hamarw department mai foreign bhi aate hai aur yaha ke bacho ko aapni company mai job dete hai .

I think it's where your overall personality development happen. give best exposure for talent and give better opportunity to explore other things rather than just class study.
