Visva Bharati University Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

We have most of necessary things which we needed. I think we need smart board which we don't have. We have projector. For sports practice we also have big ground where we practice every morning. We have many sports equipments.

I choose physical education course because I want to be connected with sports and be fit physically. The teaching quality is good,we have enough professor. They are very strict and they dedicatedly do everything. Curriculum is improving day by day.

Placement is a huge problem among the all students of our university. Some specific departments like one or two departments give placement . If in some rare cases they give placement then the salary is not that much satisfied.

This course is not much expensive. It's very helpful for all categories of students. Per semester we need to give only 300 rupees if anyone get back then they have to give extra money otherwise not. Food and hostels are also cheap.

Campus life is going nicely. Our class start from 6.30 am..it's a little bit hectic but we try to find enjoy in it. Our university campus life is a bit different from others. It's not only a university it's an Aashram.

Visva Bharati has received recognition of world heritage. We have huge museum named Uttarayan which carries the memory of the great Rabindranath Tagore. The prayer of Kanch Mandir is a holy thing to me. The academic system is also good. Professor are very respectable .they maintain good connection with students.

This campus covers a large area approx. of 1000 acres, they provide each and every basis facilities like advanced classrooms, libraries, hostels, playgrounds and more, the whole campus areas is covered by free WI-FI service.

I am doing my Masters from Hindi department and my teachers are very good they provide us very good level of education, they all are very helpful and kind they treat us like their own children, we have more than 10 experienced teachers.

This college generally doesn't provide that much placement to the UG students but if you are doing a masters degree from here you could get a placement like in schools or in charity or A MNC so placement wise this is not that good.

This college is good and bad at same time but it could be better in future.

This university has many subjects and departments. It has hospital where students and other members get facilities in free or in very less money. In the Library we get all books which we need. So it save money.

Faculty and professor is good but I think if they extend our class time because the duration of our class is 45 minutes which is not enough to learn a new language. In this way we can't be ready for job.

We don't get any placement which is not good for us. We have to rush here and there for job. It take more time also. They tell us about which kind of job we can apply for but not directly reffer us any job.

It is totally value for money. Because the semester fee is very low around 400. According this fees this course is worth it. It's very helpful for students who are from outside specially.

It is enjoyable and joyful. We get involve with many types of extra curricular activities. Sometimes we do group study in library. We visit other departments also. Group discussion also we do before exam.

There is many conference rooms and there held many conferences i attended this kind of things. Many hall also is there where held dramas, songs, dance etc. Someone who is like this things like me they will enjoy a lot. Science lab is also good there.

College infranstructure is good though but our department Sangeet Bhavan is also department from others. So I think they have to renovate it. And we need a big classroom for our subject. Otherwise all is good .

Academic system is very good. We have sufficient professor and everyone is very supportive. They take classes time by time and we do practice a lot in the department. We participate many cultural programs which also help us in academy .

Our department give placement to pass out students. Many of our seniors get placement in many schools or college. We hope if we try then we also get placement. 50% students get placement. I don't know about their salary package but may it's good.

This course is totally value for money. Per year the course cost is around one thousand. In my view this university is cheap to me.

I am enjoying my campus life with friends and others. In every month we have atleast one cultural programs and we get involve with this kind of programs and this way my life pass very easy to be involve with music.

I recommend this university for my junior. Visva Bharati is special for sangeet bhavan so this is very good department. It will be more good if we get chance to go outside and show our talent. It will be more beneficial for us to do performance in other states. In this way our experience also increase.

Mine university has almost all necessary equipment like projector,AC, sufficient room for classes, playground, garden. It also has swimming pool which I like the most. Swimming pool's cost is too much cheaper than other.

I think they need to increase the quality of our studies. Increase the number of classes because In the exam time I face difficulties. We don't get enough time for semester exam so if they complete our syllabus quickly then it will be better.

I came at this university in 2024,since then I didn't see any of our seniors get placement from our department . Some department give placement but not ours. So we have to do more hardwork for that. I we get worried about out future.

Per year my course cost around one thousand rupees. It is not too much. Base on this fees my course is worth for money. It is cheap and hostel fees is also cheap and the meal of the hostel is also not expensive.

Our university campus has many kinds of trees, the variety of trees I can see here, which is good for nature. Some places are not clean in our campus especially in rainy season the road became dirty, we face problems for that.

Overall this university and its campus is average. They offer many courses in free of cost and our university has gym centre which is also free of cost those are very good things. Staff and guard are very supportive. Librarians are also very good and they behave in very good way.

The male washroom is very dirty . Taps are not working properly. The facilities of wifi is good , smart board is good . AC works well . classrooms are clean but not washroom . Washroom are not hygiene enough.

I am pursuing B.A. hons in Russian. I pursued because I want to learn russian . The quality of teaching is average . Infact in our dept we have only one professor and guest lecturer. I am in my 2nd yr so I don't about the job ready .

There is no placement right now. We want placements. We used to get but not right now . If the start again placement system we will be very grateful and helpful for us. We requested and told about this.

The course fee per year is good. But the placement is very bad . But in course fee perspective is value for money.

I love the campus life . It's breathing naturally. It's green so much . Full of nature vibe . There is many activities like mela , dance , theatre, singing etc . The location is safe . The professor and senior students are very helpful.

For selective department the placement cell is very good . I would say for art and culture. The culture of this university is different from others university. We enjoy this culture very much. Department is also good they take examination time by time, and the teachers help us beyond the classes. They need to care about some things which is washroom hygiene specially.

This university offer us big campus, every subject has different departments, also give us free wifi inside the campus for study and research, which is very useful for students and facilities. This university has very large library also.

I'm studying Russian language in Visva Bharati. I think we need more professor or faculties . Otherwise now we have two teachers who are very helpful. We have to do self study for more improvement and prepare ourselves for job.

We don't get any placement from University's department. I think only 10% students get placed. They give placement many years ago but now they don't offer this. If they start again this placement process students will be helpful.

Affordable .

In my point of view Visva-Bharati is good for some reason and some things are not that much good in it. I think they need to work on it and upgrade it.

The infrastructure of this college is very good they offer you a large campus of 1000 plus acres with each and every basics facilities like bus services, free WI-FI, proper playgrounds, Personal buildings for each and every department.

I am a student of Economics 2nd year and i just want to say that my department offers the best study of this university we have very talented and hardworking faculties they all are very helpful and down to earth.

This is an issue i would like to notify you about that we don't get any direct placement from this university if you want to get a job you have to find it by yourself otherwise you have to do masters degree then you could get a direct placement from my department.

Very affordable.

Just average.

This university offers you a great environment, this is situated far from the city noise.

The infrastructure of this college is very good , all the buildings are well maintained they all are very clean , each and every department have basic facilities like, boards, water coolers, whole campus area is covered by free WI-FI service also they have many many playgrounds .

The level of teaching is not so good i am a 4th year student of French department and we have only one faculty member so you could understand the level of teaching , all i want to say that if you want to take admission in my department you need to do self study, but some of other departments are very good in academics like Japanese and Chinese.

Some of my seniors got placed in various MNCs they got direct campus placements but this is only for foreign language students if you are studying any other subject you will not get any placement from here you have to find it by yourself.

Very affordable
