The university has a peaceful and historic campus with good academic buildings, library facilities, classrooms, and basic student amenities. Some facilities could be improved and modernized. Infrastructure
The academic environment is good, with knowledgeable teachers and a wide range of subjects. Students get opportunities to learn beyond textbooks through cultural and academic activities best academic in this University
Placement opportunities are available, but they can vary by course and department. Students may need to actively seek internships and career opportunities. The university provides placement and career-related opportunities through different departments and recruitment activities. However, placement opportunities can vary depending on the course, department, and year. Students can also benefit from internships,
The university offers good value for money because of its academic environment, campus, and relatively affordable education. The university provides good value for money, especially considering the quality of education, experienced faculty, library facilities, and campus environment. The fees are comparatively affordable for many students.
The campus is beautiful, spacious, and surrounded by nature. The calm atmosphere is one of the best features of Visva-Bharati.The campus is beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery. The natural environment creates a positive atmosphere for studying and relaxation.
Visva-Bharati University provides a unique combination of education, culture, history, and a peaceful campus life. Overall, it is a good choice for students looking for a traditional and enriching university experience.
It does't have all the necessary equipments but our library is pretty good and it's huge.. but the wifi is very bad , it doesn't work most if the time ... this has to be fixed as soon as possible.. sports center is avg
The faculty here is one of the best things about this college, they explain our study materials very well which makes our learning process much smoother , the curriculum is not always updated to date...
This is also pretty avg because the placement cell works but not that good.. most of the students have to find job by themselves so it isn't really useful ... and the highest package always goes to the students from science stream
The university provides the essential facilities, but I would not say that all of them are excellent. Classrooms are equipped with basic technology such as projectors, WiFi and smart boards, but some classrooms need better maintenance. The laboratories have the required equipment, although a few machines and instruments are outdated. The library is one of the better facilities, with enough books and a quiet place to study, but more updated resources would be helpful. Sports facilities are available, but there are not many options for students. Hostel facilities are basic, and cleanliness depends on the particular building. The food is generally hygienic, but the quality and taste are inconsistent.
I am studying French because I want to build a career where I can use my language skills. The teaching quality is average. Some professors are very supportive and make the classes interesting, while others mainly follow the textbook and do not use many practical activities. The classes provide a reasonable understanding of the subject, but there is room for improvement in teaching methods. The curriculum contains the main topics required for the course, but it does not always keep up with the latest developments and practical requirements of the field. There could be more focus on communication skills, technology, real-world projects and professional training. The course provides a basic foundation for employment, but I don't think it makes students completely job-ready on its own. Students need to develop additional skills through internships, online courses or personal projects.
The quality of placements has been disappointing. Currently, our language department does not have a dedicated placement facility, which makes it difficult for students to find suitable job opportunities through the college. There is no fixed placement percentage, average salary or highest package available for our language course because regular campus placements are not conducted for the department. The placement process is therefore not really applicable to language students. The college provides very limited assistance in connecting students with companies or organisations that require language skills. Most students have to depend on personal applications, internships, online job portals and other sources to start their careers.
I pay approximately ₹3000-4000 per year for my course. The fee is not extremely high, but I would say that the overall experience is only moderately worth the money. The college has the basic infrastructure required for students, including classrooms, WiFi, a library, laboratories and sports facilities, but some facilities are outdated or need better maintenance. Hostel facilities and food are also average. The teachers are generally knowledgeable, but the quality of teaching varies. The curriculum covers the important topics, although it needs more practical learning and updated content to make students more job-ready. Another major concern is that there is currently no proper placement facility for the language departments, so students do not receive much campus placement support. Considering all these factors, I feel the course offers some value for the fees, but not enough to rate it highly.
The college campus is fairly good and has a pleasant environment for students. Its best feature is that it provides a comfortable space for studying and socialising, with a library, classrooms, sports facilities and common areas. Students can participate in sports, cultural events, seminars, clubs and other college activities. However, some parts of the campus and facilities need better maintenance, and there could be more activities for students. The students are generally friendly and helpful, while most teachers are supportive and approachable. The support staff are usually cooperative, although the quality of support can vary. The location is convenient and the campus is generally safe. Basic security and emergency arrangements are available, but the college could improve its emergency response system and provide better facilities for unexpected situations.
Visva-Bharati has a distinctive campus with historic buildings, open spaces, and plenty of greenery. The environment is peaceful and different from a typical modern university campus. Classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and other basic facilities are available. Some buildings and facilities could be maintained and upgraded better, but the overall infrastructure is suitable for students.
The academic environment at Visva-Bharati is generally good. The university has experienced teachers and offers students opportunities to learn through regular classes, assignments, seminars, projects, and discussions. Its focus on literature, languages, arts, culture, and other disciplines gives students a broad learning experience. The academic quality can vary between departments, but overall it is satisfactory.
Placement opportunities at Visva-Bharati depend largely on the course and department. The university provides career-related guidance, internships, training programs, and information about recruitment opportunities. Students also have opportunities to prepare for higher studies, research, teaching, and other career paths. More frequent recruitment drives and greater industry participation could further improve the placement experience.
Visva-Bharati offers good value for money, particularly because students can receive a quality education at a relatively affordable cost. Apart from academics, students get exposure to Santiniketan's unique cultural environment, art, literature, music, and traditions. The overall experience goes beyond classroom learning, making the education worthwhile for students who appreciate a culturally rich university environment.
Campus life at Visva-Bharati is unique because of its peaceful surroundings and strong connection with Santiniketan's culture and traditions. Students can participate in cultural programs, festivals, academic events, sports, and other activities. The greenery and open spaces make the campus pleasant. It may feel quieter than a large city university, but that is also what makes the experience special and memorable.
College infrastructure is good . College provides bus 8×6 days . They alos provides free wifi 24 hours. There are Lifts in almost every buildings. Also provide hygienic mess and also a good hoatel. Overall good infrastructure.
There are lack of professors in few departments. But complete syllabus before deadline. They mandrate 75% attendance criteria but they don't provide internship . The gives many projects. Copy checking is very delay an results also delayed
Placement condition is very poor. Placement cell is not active and only few company comes in college. Only few departments get jobs like french German, russian, chinese, japnese and Italian. Placement condition is very bad.
The university has a fair level of infrastructure. There are RO water facilities for students and fans and AC are available in classrooms and other areas. The library has a good collection of books and journals. The open reading area is also useful for students. Lifts are available in the buildings. However, some facilities need better care, cleaning, and regular repair.
Academics are good and the professors are one of the best parts of the university. Many teachers are highly educated and know their subjects well. The 75% attendance rule is compulsory for students. Students also get projects to complete during their course. However, the university does not offer enough internship opportunities. Adding internships and more practical classes would be a good improvement.
The university has limited placement options. Only around 2–3 companies visit the campus, which is not enough for all students. The placement cell should be more active and should try to bring companies from different fields. At present, Agriculture, Science, and language departments like French, German, Japanese, and Chinese have better chances. More companies should be invited for students from every department.
Yes, my college has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for academic and extracurricular activities. The campus is well maintained, and most classrooms are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Many classrooms have projectors and other teaching aids, while Wi-Fi is available in several areas. The university has a well-maintained Central Library with a large collection of books and digital resources. Each department also has its own library for students. The science laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments. Although I have not personally visited them, my friends from the Science Department have told me that they are well maintained and regularly used.
Excellent faculty, updated curriculum, supportive teaching, and strong academic guidance. Students get practical exposure and recruitment opportunities, while job-readiness ultimately depends on their own efforts.
Good placement opportunities, with seniors receiving packages of ₹7–9 LPA. The university also offers teaching vacancies and recruitment drives, while many students pursue higher studies. The supportive faculty and placement cell help students explore suitable career opportunities.
Excellent value for money with very affordable fees, low hostel and transport costs, quality education, good facilities, supportive faculty, and scholarships for eligible students.Overall, the facilities and opportunities justify the cost.
Campus life is vibrant and enjoyable, with a green campus, cultural festivals, sports, and memorable hostel experiences. The environment is peaceful, safe, and rich in tradition and culture.Students also get opportunities to participate in various academic, cultural, and extracurricular activities.,
Overall, Visva-Bharati offers quality education, excellent faculty, affordable fees, good facilities, and a vibrant campus life. It provides a supportive environment for academic and personal growth, along with good career opportunities.
The campus has many useful facilities, but the overall infrastructure is average. Students get RO water and classrooms have fans and AC in many places. The library is helpful and has books and journals. There is also an open space for reading and studying. Lifts are available for easy movement between floors. Some buildings and facilities need regular repair and better maintenance.
I would give 4 out of 5 for academics. The university has many well-qualified and highly educated professors. They explain the subjects and guide students in their studies. Students must have 75% attendance, which makes them attend classes regularly. The university gives projects but does not provide enough internship opportunities. More practical training would make academics even better.
Placements are not very strong at the university. Usually, only 2–3 companies come for campus placement, so students have fewer choices. The placement cell should become more active and contact more companies. Students from Agriculture, Science, and language subjects such as French, German, Japanese, and Chinese get better chances. Other departments need more placement support.
The university has good basic facilities for students. There are RO water machines, fans, and AC in many classrooms. The library has books and journals for study. Students can also use the open reading area. Lifts are available in some buildings and are useful. Still, some places need better cleaning and care. More new facilities can make the campus better.
The academic system of the university is good. Most professors are highly educated and have good knowledge of their subjects. Students have to maintain at least 75% attendance, so regular classes are important. The university gives projects to students, which helps them learn. However, internship chances are not provided much. More practical work and internships would be helpful.
The placement system needs a lot of improvement. Only about 2–3 companies visit the university for placement. The placement cell is not very active and should work harder to bring more companies. Good placement chances are mainly seen in Agriculture, Science, and language courses like German, French, Japanese, and Chinese. More companies should be invited.
The infrastructure of the university is average but has many useful facilities. RO water facilities are available, and fans and ACs are provided in classrooms and some important areas. The library has many books and journals for students. There is also an open reading area where students can study peacefully. Lifts are available in the buildings, which are helpful. However, some facilities need better maintenance and regular improvement. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory but can be improved further.
Academics are one of the good points of the university. The professors are highly educated and have good knowledge of their subjects. Students get proper academic guidance from the teachers. There is a mandatory 75% attendance criterion, which encourages students to attend classes regularly. The university does not provide many internship opportunities, but students are given projects as part of their academic work. More practical learning and internship opportunities would make the academic experience better. Overall, academics are good and deserve 4 out of 5.
The placement situation of the university needs a lot of improvement. Only around 2–3 companies visit the university for placements, so the opportunities are limited. The placement cell is also not very active and should work better to attract more companies and create better opportunities for students. At present, placement opportunities are mainly available for some departments, especially Agriculture, Science, and language departments such as German, French, Japanese, and Chinese. Students from other departments may have fewer options. More companies and regular placement drives are needed.
