Academic building is better now but many department have old building. RO water available with water cooler and also AC,24 hour high speed wifi available. With librairy full of Books,journals and peace area.

Lack of professors and classes not happened because professors don't take class.only give they see attendance upto 75%. And also give lot's of projects. But don't provide internship. Copy checking of examination is very hard.

Only foreign language department get placement also not much. Only 4-5 students out of 30 gets placement. Other department don't get placement. Placement cell is not active.only 2-3 company visits our university.

There are in certain department in which placement provideds like chinese, Japnese, French German, Italian, Russian ,In agriculture and computer science but are are lack of companies. Placement cell is not active,so other departments don't provide placement.

The quality of placements at our collage is at best level and it has the higest salary package their is 95% of students placed for jobs and for jobs the teacher helps us to prepare for intivew and leads us

Visva bharati university has a great infrastructure . It has many deparment , canteens , there is libraries in each deparment but it also has a central library , it also has hostals , sports centres and a clean hygienic enviroment

I'm studying french , the quality of teaching is excellent . Every deparment in our collage has more than 3 professors . Everyone enjoy studying beacause the quality of them teaching great . It makes job-ready.

My University has most of the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment required for academic and extracurricular activities. The campus is well maintained, and most classrooms are clean, spacious, and air-conditioned. Many classrooms are equipped with projectors and other teaching aids, and Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the campus and hostels too. The university has a well-maintained Central Library with a large collection of books and digital resources. In addition, each department has its own library to meet the academic needs of students. The science laboratories are well equipped with modern instruments. Although I have not visited them personally, my friends from the Science Department have told me that they are well maintained and regularly used. The university also provides good sports facilities. There are grounds and courts for volleyball, basketball, badminton, and other games. Some hostels also have gym facilities for students. The hostels and other living spaces are generally clean and maintained properly. However, the quality of food served in the canteens and hostel mess needs improvement. While the food is usually hygienic, its taste and overall quality could be better. Overall, the university offers a good learning environment with adequate facilities for students.

I am pursuing a B.A. (Honours) in German at Visva-Bharati University because I have a strong interest in learning foreign languages and exploring different cultures. I chose this university mainly because of the excellent reputation of the German Department and its faculty. The quality of teaching is outstanding, and I feel fortunate to learn under experienced professors, especially Professor Romit Roy, whose teaching style is engaging, practical, and inspiring. In my department, the faculty members are highly supportive and always encourage students to improve their language skills. In some other departments, there can be a language barrier because a few professors and Ph.D. scholars are more comfortable speaking Bengali. However, they make a genuine effort to communicate in English and sometimes Hindi so that students from different backgrounds can understand the lessons. The curriculum is updated regularly every semester and academic year to include recent developments in the field of German language and literature. I believe the course provides a strong academic foundation and many opportunities to develop practical skills. The department also invites companies and organizations for campus interviews and recruitment. Ultimately, becoming job-ready depends on the student's own dedication, while the faculty provides excellent guidance and support throughout the course.

I have also seen a senior from the French Department receive a package of approximately ₹9 LPA. Although I do not know the highest package offered by the university overall or the exact percentage of students placed, there are regular placement opportunities across different language departments.
