Centre for Studies in Social Sciences offers courses at postgraduate and doctoral levels. The candidates can choose the desired course after ensuring they meet the CSSSCAL eligibility criteria of the course. The total number of CSSSCAL courses available are 9. The courses are offered in the field of Social Science. The CSSSCAL courses are only available in full-time mode only. The duration and fees vary from course to course at different levels. The CSSCAL fees will also depend on the course which is selected by the candidate. The applicants should also ensure that they meet any additional admission requirement as per the instructions by the institute.

The candidates must have a Master’s degree or a professional degree equivalent to Master’s degree by the statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade ‘B’. Master’s degree can be in any of the social science fields ( Economics, History, Sociology, Political Science, Cultural Studies others) or from non-social science disciplines. ( 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/ Differently abled or those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991. | |
