Hello Kartikey!

After analysing the results of CLAT 2019, your rank and score seems low. It will be tough for you to get into any government law college, bit there are multiple options available in the private institutions which you should consider. Naming a few:

  • SRM university
  • Indore Institute of law
  • Xavier's law school
  • Uttranchal University,Law college
  • Alliance school of law
  • ICFAI Law School.
  • Institute of law, Nirma University
  • Raffles University
  • Bennett University
  • Galgotia University,Law college etc.

Hope this helps

All the best!

Hello student,

Yes, there are management quota seats in glc Mumbai. They encourage the candidates so that they can develop their inter-personal skills which would help for their education and career growth. Some colleges are:

  • NMIMS University
  • Oriental College of Law, Mumbai
  • Mahatma Gandhi Education Society Pilai’s Law College, Mumbai
  • DY Patil College of Law, Mumbai
  • Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Law, Mumbai

Cheers!

Hello Siddharth,

GLC and ILS both being the best two colleges under the said exam, a rank within 250 should be aimed at under your category. The marks vs rank trend depends on the paper. That being said, a score of 120 would in any case be ideal to get into these both colleges.

Best of luck.

Hi Gayatri,

Considering the fact that this year the paper was easy your chances of making it to any of the NLU is bleak.  Previous year cut off for the year 2016 will give you a fair idea about your chances. However you may get through one of the newly incorporated NLUs.

Dear Amisha Singh,

CLAT is an admission test through which students are admitted through India. Law colleges of all the states take part in this. But only some states have NLUs. Some other private colleges have their own exams but ultimately every college takes CLAT into consideration.

Hope my answer helped.

Hello!!!

Domicile and birth certificate are two different things. Domicile proves that you have a residence in a particular place but birth certificate just proves that you were born at some particular place. But it doesn't at all prove that you have a residence there. So you do need a domicile certificate to show that you a resident of a particular state.

Hey Sarah.

The cut off for admission in Government Law College, Mumbai and in Indian Legal Society, Puen in the previous year has been really high owing to them being the top most colleges under MHCET Law. The cut off marks for admission in GLC Mumbai were a range of 110- 130 in the previous year and in ILS Pune were in a range of 105-130. Hence with a score of 99 you don't seem to have much chances.

Best of luck.

Hello Manish
For getting admission in GLC MUMBAI you have to give MHCET and should have score atleast 45% in your graduation from a recognised University. And40%  is for the reserved categories.
Now the question paper consist of 150 question with no negative marking and the subjects are general knowledge, logical reasoning and analytical reasoning,  English and legal Aptitude.
For there preparation for subjects like general knowledge read Newspaper regularly and you can also take help from GK sites gktoday, leadthecompetition, etc .
For logical reasoning and analytical you can refer Rk Aggarwal book you can practice from there.
For legal Aptitude you can refer Lexi Nexis.
I hope this helps you and best of luck.
