Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) is a five-year full-time undergraduate course offered by the University of Calicut, Malappuram, and approved by the Council of Architecture (COA).
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidates passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Mathematics as a subject of examination, with 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
The Candidates who have passed the international baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% aggregate and with mathematics as a compulsory subject of examination. In addition, the candidates have to score a qualifying grade for NATA (National Aptitude Test for Architecture) conducted by the council of architecture based on the following rule.
i) At least 25% must be secured in the MCQ portion (30 out of 120) ii) At least 25% must be secured in the Drawing portion (20 out of 80) iii) Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) would be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of the council.
The candidate will not qualify for NATA unless(s)he satisfies all three conditions mentioned above.
Management and NRI Quota
The candidate shall have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or be recognized as equivalent examinations with 50% in physics chemistry & mathematics, and 50% marks in aggregate.
The candidate shall have a valid National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score.
